Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart is expecting a second child with his wife, model-photographer Penny Lancaster, Stewart's spokeswoman said on Monday.

The couple's first child is 4-year-old Alastair Wallace.

"We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy's 40th Birthday," the couple said in a statement.

Stewart, 65, and 39 year-old Lancaster celebrated their third wedding anniversary in June.

The "Maggie May" singer had two children in his first marriage to Alana Hamilton, one child with Kelly Emberg, and another two kids with former wife Rachel Hunter.

Rachel Hunter is reportedly dating Eddie Irvine.

The New Zealand-born model is said to be getting over her split from ice hockey player Jarret Stoll - who ended their relationship just seven weeks before they were due to marry this year - by spending time with the former Formula One racing driver.

Guests at the Cinema Society's after-party for 'Broken Embraces', which was held at New York's Standard Hotel, saw 40-year-old Rachel "giggling and flirting" with Eddie.

Rachel - who was previously married to singer Rod Stewart - was heartbroken when Jarret walked out on her in June, leaving her to email guests and tell them their August wedding was off.

Rachel Hunter has reportedly been dumped less than two months before she was due to get married.

The 39-year-old model was left stunned when ice hockey star Jarret Stoll, 27, walked out on her with no explanation, emailing guests due to attend their August 14 wedding ceremony to tell them it was off.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Rachel is absolutely devastated. Everything was in place for their wedding - she had the venue, the designer dress, the guest list.

"She has absolutely no idea why Jarret has done this. It sounds like it could be a classic case of cold feet. He is a fair bit younger than her."

Rachel is believed to be receiving support from her ex-husband, singer Rod Stewart.

She is said to have told a friend: "Rod has been amazing through all of this - a real support."

Rachel - who has two children, Renee, 17, and Liam, 14, with the rocker - married Rod in 1990 but they split nine years later, finalising their divorce in 2006.

The teenagers are said to be "in pieces" over the end of their mother's relationship, which began in 2006.

"I need to be given less time than a year to plan, because I change my mind so often. "It was going to be in Mexico but we decided otherwise. I've made seven changes to the location."

And she reveals that choosing that special dress is almost as tough, adding: "I'm in the process of picking out a dress. "The scariest thing is picking out the bridesmaid dresses. You pick your best friends to be bridesmaids but it is kind of a torture what you do to them. "Everyone loves the little black dress but how do you incorporate a little black dress into a wedding?
"It's going to be something very chic, I feel. I'm trying." Hunter, who divorced singer Rod in 2007, said Stoll is a keeper, adding: "He's got a great sense of humor. "He's a good person. And he gets on really well with my kids, and obviously we have to get on very well ... good all around."
