The cast is filled with personality. Man-on-the-moon Buzz Aldrin and former Beverly Hills 90210 actress Shannen Doherty will all hit the ballroom dancefloor in the new season of Dancing with the Stars.
The full line-up of celebrity dancers was revealed on US TV on Monday night and also includes reality TV mom-of-eight Kate Gosselin, sexy sports presenter Erin Andrews and Winter Olympics figure-skating gold medal winner Evan Lysacek.
It had been widely rumored that 90s pin-up Anderson would be on the hit show, America’s answer to the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Host Tom Bergeron announced her as "the world’s sexiest woman" and moon mission astronaut Aldrin as "the original moonwalker”.
The show starts later this month, with the full line-up of 11 celebrity contestants completed by Brit actor Aiden Turner from US soap All My Children, actress and comedienne Niecy Nash, NFL ace Chad Ochocinco, and Jake Pavelka of reality TV show The Bachelor.

The eccentric singer claims she always felt like a "freak" because her school's strict rules forbade cosmetics, so she used to indulge in her desire to dress up before going to sleep.

She explained to WWD: "When I was young, I felt like a freak in school - and I had to put my make up on when I got home before I went to bed because I wasn't allowed to wear make-up in school.

"When I walked around the corner and saw Boy George in the window of a MAC store, I said, 'I feel just like that!' Why is that attitude nowhere else? And RuPaul, and Pamela Anderson.…I said, 'Gosh, I feel just like that.'

Reality TV News - Pamela Anderson (pictured) has signed up to appear on Dancing With The Stars, reports have claimed. The one-time Baywatch babe will appear on the upcoming series of the show, a source close to the star has revealed.

How long will Pam last if she does appear as a contestant?  Many predict the move is likely to boost male viewing figures, and the claim is that Anderson, 42, and the show have agreed to all terms for a deal and the deal is done, the source said.
"Pam is thrilled and so is the show,” the mole said.

Donny Osmond was crowned champion on the previous season of the popular program, which has also featured Heather Mills, Kelly Osbourne and Jerry Springer. “She really wanted to do the show and the show thought it was a great idea,” the source said.

Pamela Anderson is planning to buy a British holiday home.

The actress - most famous for her role as glamorous lifeguard C.J. Parker in US drama 'Baywatch' - is looking at resorts on the English coast, including Bournemouth, Blackpool, Brighton and Morecambe Bay, while also house-hunting in London.

Her agent, Toby St Just, told The Sun newspaper: "Pammy loves it in England and is looking at buying two houses, one in London and one by the sea.

"It'll be a far cry from California, where all the people are tanned and beautiful. And she may find the pebble beaches take a little getting used to.

"But she has a real affection for the place and would love to have somewhere she can call home.

"She hasn't decided where yet, she's still looking at the options."

Ex-Playboy model Pamela was in England over the Christmas period, where she starred in pantomime - a family comedy production - as the genie of the lamp in a version of Aladdin in London.

The 42-year-old star is currently living in a trailer on the grounds of her home in Malibu, California, with sons Brandon, 13, and Dylan, 11 - her children with ex-husband Tommy Lee - while her property is being renovated.

The 'Barb Wire' star - who is currently single after splitting from boyfriend Jamie Padgett - recently revealed that the boys have got so fond of their temporary accommodation in the family's guest house trailer that they don't want to leave.

The former 'Baywatch' star, who is one of the world's best known Playboy models, claims her sons Brandon, 13, and Dylan, 12, have barely seen any of her acting work because they are "not interested".

She said: "They've never seen 'Baywatch', I want them to watch it but they're not interested. 'Baywatch' isn't on right now where I am and they saw little parts in 'Borat' but that's about all they've seen."

Pamela, who made an infamous sex tape with her children's father, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, believes the boys will eventually realise how she and her ex-husband are perceived, but isn't worried.

The 42-year-old star said: "They know I'm at school with the neon vest parking cars and doing safety patrol. Obviously they've grown up with me and they know there are paparazzi.

Pamela Anderson claims working on Playboy had a "family" atmosphere.

The former model - who first posed for the adult publication at the age of 22 - insists she never felt exploited by the magazine's founder Hugh Hefner when she stripped for pictures and was always comfortable in his company.

She said: "It felt like a real family environment. Once I got to know Hugh Hefner I saw that he was, in fact, a real supporter of women. Playboy wasn't exploitative at all and it was my decision."

The 44-year-old star also revealed she was encouraged to flash her flesh by her mother who thought it would help make her more feminine after she was approached to pose while working as a waitress.

She explained to the Daily Star newspaper: "My mom was supportive - she told me to go for it. I was always a tomboy and she thought it would be good to look back on one day."

Despite her initial reservations, Pamela soon grew increasingly comfortable with her body.

She explained: "They started off just doing a little lingerie, a little slip up the shoulder, a little this, a little that, but pretty soon I was walking around completely naked and they had to stop me before I went outside."

Pamela Anderson is launching a pop career.

The former 'Baywatch' actress is preparing to release a track called 'High', which is about the fashion world, her friend Richie Rich has revealed.

Richie told the New York Post newspaper: "We are recording a pop single together. Pamela says she wants to sing, but nothing too difficult, so she's just going to sing the word 'high' over and over."

In addition, Pamela and Richie are launching a clothing line, A*Muse.

She explained: "I haven't had a drink in a month, I don't drink. Champagne - sometimes I'll drink it and I'll get a little crazy, doing backflips and, you know, wrestling people on the floor, but I'm taking a break right now, my friend calls it 'detox so you can retox'."

Pamela is currently living in a trailer with her sons while her Malibu home is being renovated, and she admits the troubled development has turned into such a nightmare she is going to sell the property.

She said: "I'm going to sell it. I hate it. People commit suicide over constructions. Relationships break down over constructions and I can see why. It rips your heart out."

Pamela Anderson's sons have started dating.

The former 'Baywatch' star has discovered romantic text messages by Brandon, 13, and 11-year-old Dylan - her children with ex-husband Tommy Lee - on their mobile phones but believes they have been brought up to treat their potential girlfriends well.

She said: "Yeah they have discovered girls. There's a lot of texting. I think they text, kiss, kiss.

"They're real gentlemen. They're real wild little boys and they're very compassionate and sweet, so I couldn't ask for anything more."

The 42-year-old actress recently admitted she has warned her sons the Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI) are monitoring their communications to stop them having secrets from her.

She said: "I don't ever snoop on their stuff. I'm not a snooper. I just tell them, 'This is the day I get the full report of what is on your computer and on your phone so I just want you to know that whatever it is I forgive you.'

"And they tell me, and then go 'Well I think someone may have hacked into my computer.'"

Meanwhile, Pamela - who is currently living in a trailer in the grounds of her Malibu home while the property is being renovated - also blasted speculation she is suffering financial difficulties as "garbage" as she has a number of property ventures.

She said: "It's where all my motorcycles, surfboards and all the fun stuff for the kids is kept, but now that we are in there the kids don't want to leave.

"Even though my house is almost done and we are getting through this contractor hell."

The actress is being sued by five building firms over unpaid bills, allegedly owing over £690,000 for work on her property that she is unable to pay due to having just £2,300 in available funds.

She has spent over £1 million renovating the £850,000 house - spending thousands on gold pool tiles and £33,000 sofas - but it does not yet have a working sewage system or electrics.

The actress has repeatedly been forced to deny she is close to bankruptcy.

In a statement released by her management team, the 42-year-old star said recently: "These reports are crazy and I cannot believe this has become a media issue. It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home.
