Pamela Anderson helped roast her former "Baywatch" co-star David Hasselhoff for a U.S. television special, Comedy Central said Wednesday.

The 90-minute program, "Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff," is to premiere Sunday night with Seth MacFarlane serving as roast master.

In line to skewer Hasselhoff were Whitney Cummings, Greg Giraldo, Gilbert Gottfried, George Hamilton, Hulk Hogan, Lisa Lampanelli, Jeffrey Ross and Jerry Springer.

An uncensored version of the event will be available Monday for download on iTunes and xBox Live Marketplace, Zune, PlayStation and Amazon.com.

"The Hoff was drowning in insults and no life guard was on duty to save him from the comedic bards. Nothing was off limits at this year's annual Comedy Central roast," the cable television network said in a release. "The Hoff was soaked with jokes about his booze, burger and babes."

The show was taped Aug. 1 in Los Angeles at Sony Studios.

Animal rights activist Pamela Anderson is disappointed that Janet Jackson has become the new face of a fur label. Jackson fronts the new advert campaign for fur label Blackglama's What Becomes a Legend Most.

And Anderson thinks Janet has made the wrong decision in agreeing to wear fur in the ads. The 43–year-old told Out magazine: "It's disappointing, she has spoken out against fur before. "I don't know why some people stop listening to their heart, I guess some people get greedy, but it's sad."

PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews also got involved by sending Janet a letter about her choice. He wrote: "You and I spoke at length about the fur issue.
"You told me that you were always aggravated at photo shoots when stylists would try to throw fur on you and that you were even wary of wearing fake fur."
He added: "You were very straightforward and sensible about it, what happened?" The 44–year-old singer joins a host of other people who have taken part in the ad campaign including Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross.

Pamela Anderson PETA Ad Banned - Canada Rejects Ad

Pamela Anderson has proved she's still got a sizzling bikini body in a controversial banned new ad for PETA. The Baywatch beauty poses in a barely there bikini with parts of her body marked as if they were pieces of meat.   The ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) says: "All animals have the same parts. Have a heart. Go vegetarian."

The Canadian-born animal rights activist, 43, had hoped to unveil the poster in Montreal but authorities in the city banned the edgy image. The Montreal Film and TV Commission refused permission for PETA to stage the poster unveiling event in the city's Place Jacques-Cartier.

A spokesperson for the commission said: "It is not so much controversial as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women."
Anderson hit back calling the city leaders ‘puritanical’. She said: "In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens.”
PETA instead launched the campaign in a private café.

Pamela Anderson - Single Life

Pamela Anderson loves being single because it is “a lot less annoying” than having a man in her life. The 43-year-old former Baywatch star has rarely been without a boyfriend since she shot to fame in the 1990s.

She has dated a string of famous men and been married three times but has been single since she split from electrician Jamie Padgett in January. Pamela expected herself to be desperate for another boyfriend, but has been surprised by how much she is enjoying single life.
"I’m not missing having a man in my life, actually,” she laughed. “It's a lot less annoying. It's nice. I have interesting, intelligent men to flirt with and then I come home. And I enjoy it."
Despite this, Pamela still hopes to find a nice man and settle down in the future. She wants to give her children, Brandon, 14, and 12-year-old Dylan a secure family environment, but knows they’ll take care of her if she ends up alone.
“It's mostly about the kids,” she explained. “I think I've just tried to attach myself to anybody who'd create a family, but the people I attracted weren't really the fairy tale I planned.
“I think I'd just rather be alone and take care of my kids and wait it out. Something will happen one day. If not, my kids will look after me."
Brandon and Dylan are Pamela’s children with her ex-husband Tommy Lee. Pamela raises the boys alone, saying Tommy spends very little time with them.
She doesn’t mind being a single parent, but admits some things can be tough – like explaining her and Tommy’s infamous sex tape.
"I still have to talk to my kids about it all the time,” Pamela told British newspaper The News of the World. “There was a tape and we were very much in love and obviously you regret it, but you can't take it back and that's what you have to deal with."

Nicole Scherzinger says Pamela Anderson was the inspiration for her recent sexy photoshoot.  The singer admits she thought about her former Dancing with the Stars rival when posing for a men’s magazine.

The blonde bombshell shot to fame wearing a high-cut red swimsuit in 90s television show Baywatch, and Nicole is clearly a big fan.
"I'm not going to lie, I am inspired by Pamela Anderson," the raven-haired singer is quoted as saying. “She is such a sexy woman and a great person. She's a great role model.”
Pamela and Nicole both competed in the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. The 31-year-old singer admitted to being intimidated by Pamela, naming the blonde siren as her main competition on the show.
”She is just fierce to me. I’m scared of her actually”, she said in an interview, adding Pamela is “the hottest chick out there”.
Nicole went on to win the reality show with her professional dance partner Derek Hough. Pamela and her partner Damian Whitewood were voted off in the fifth round.

Nicole Scherzinger Wins "Dancing With The Stars"

Singer Nicole Scherzinger tangoed and jived her way to ballroom stardom on Tuesday, winning a tight contest on "Dancing With the Stars" and ending a season that by most measures was the TV show's best yet.

Olympic gold medalist skater Evan Lysacek wound up second and sports reporter Erin Andrews trailed in third.

The results might have seemed predictable to some fans because Scherzinger, a member of the Pussycat Dolls, was the clear front-runner throughout most of the season and Lysacek was a close second.

But Andrews and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy came on strong in Monday's performance round with a season high score of 55 points to tie Scherzinger and Hough for the lead. And all three couples made Tuesday's finale the closest yet after an initial round of Argentine tangos that wowed judges.

"In 10 seasons, judging these three tangos is the hardest job we've ever had," said judge Len Goodman.

So, when host Tom Bergeron announced Scherzinger was the winner, she seemed genuinely surprised, jumping up and down and screaming and hugging Hough.

She blew a kiss to her rival Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya, and he graciously accepted second place saying he was "totally satisfied with everything we gave."

In its 10th season, "Dancing With the Stars" featured contestants including former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, reality TV star Kate Gosselin and one-time Playboy model Pamela Anderson.

The ABC show averaged 21.6 million viewers a night and competed for the title America's most watched show with juggernaut singing contest "American Idol" on rival Fox.

"This has been the best season of 'Dancing With the Stars, ever," said judge Bruno Tonioli.

BALLROOM ON FIRE

Andrews was dubbed the most improved as week after week she increased the passion and emotion in her dancing. She joined the program after becoming the victim of a sex stalker before season 10 began, and after being eliminated she said she had come to the show seeking to put that episode behind her.

"This experience has meant everything to me," she told host Tom Bergeron after being eliminated midway through the show.

"I came here under really crummy circumstances, and I just wanted to get my life back together and my smile back," she said, fighting back tears.

After Andrews was eliminated in the initial round of tangos, the remaining couples danced a second routine with Lysacek and Trebunskaya failing to impress the judges with a quickstep as much as Scherzinger and Hough did with their jive to the up tempo song "Proud Mary."

"You set this place on fire," said judge Carrie Ann Inaba, "It has been nothing but amazing."

Scherzinger and Hough ended the night with a perfect score of 30 and a total of 115 for the two final nights, Monday and Tuesday. Lysacek and Trebunskaya had a 28 on their quickstep and ended with 108 points over the two nights.

Combined with audience voting, the night belonged to Scherzinger and Hough. They lifted the mirror ball high above their heads and rode the shoulders of the other dancers off the ballroom floor.

Other highlights of the finale included dances from eliminated contestants such as Anderson, Aldrin and Gosselin, and the judges gave a mirror ball trophy to a collegiate team of dancers from Utah Valley University.

Kate Gosselin DWTS Return - Reunion with Pamela Anderson

Kate Gosselin (pictured) is looking forward to her DWTS return.  The mother of eight and star of two separate reality TV shows on TLC loves the spotlight and can't wait to reunite with cell phone text pal and new BFF Pamela Anderson on the hit ABC reality TV series.

It was revealed this week that the two women that were said to be rivals on Dancing with the Stars have struck up a friendship and are texting all the time.

How much does Kate want that network spotlight for one more round? Us Magazine revealed last week that Kate was "withering without her spotlight."
A magazine report claimed that a source had spilled that the 35-year old mom of eight had "has been feeling low — and even upped her workout regime (running two or three times a day, instead of once) — since getting booted from Dancing With the Stars" last month.

The insider said: "She was moping. She (was sure she would have) made it to the final four."
Adds another source close to Gosselin, "Kate misses the media coverage. She got used to the publicity."

Are Pam Anderson and Kate Gosselin (pictured) new best friends? In Touch Weekly has a report that reveals that while "on this season of Dancing With the Stars, celebrity competitors Pamela Anderson and Kate Gosselin battled it out on — and according to some reports, off — the dance floor."

However, the magazine claims the former Baywatch babe insists they became best buds on the show, and their friendship is still going strong.

"Kate was great. We text all the time!" Pamela told In Touch at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods' 2nd Anniversary Celebration in Connecticut on May 15. And, hopefully, the two working moms can be reunited for the dance competition show's season finale on May 24 and 25.
The report also reveals Kate's definitely planning on making a return. "There (had) better be one more dance left in me," the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star wrote on her official TLC blog.

"Dancing" Audience Boots Off Pamela Anderson

Former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson was eliminated from television's "Dancing With the Stars" competition on Tuesday, leaving just five celebrities in the running for the finale.

Anderson, 42, who had finished in the bottom two several times this season despite mostly good reviews from the judges, received the lowest votes from the public this week for her fairy-tale waltz with professional partner Damian Andrews.

Popular ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews also found herself at risk of elimination on Tuesday after ending in the bottom two in a shock result that judge Len Goodman called "absolutely heartbreaking."

Canadian-born Anderson, a former Playboy model, found worldwide fame as a buxom lifeguard in the 1990s TV series "Baywatch".

But the almost 20 million viewers for ABC television's "Dancing With the Stars" never seemed to take to her, despite performances on the show in which she emulated other famous blondes including Marilyn Monroe and Dolly Parton.

Anderson, along with eliminated contestants astronaut Buzz Aldrin and TV reality mother of eight Kate Gosselin, has helped the 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars" to its biggest audiences ever.

The remaining five celebrities are Pussycat Dolls singer and favorite Nicole Scherzinger, Olympic ice skater Evan Lysacek, Andrews, actress and "Clean House" host Niecy Nash and footballer Chad Ochocinco.

The finale will be broadcast in mid-May.
