If it is almost summer, Kim Kardashian must be stripping down to a bikini. Reality stars Kim and sister Khloe have lost 10 pounds and 25 pounds, respectively, in the last year.

Now, the sisters share their tips with Life & Style on how they've kept the weight off for almost a year and they claim it is without depriving themselves!  
The magazine has released some of the details.

Kim says eating breakfast is key. "Before, all I'd have for breakfast was a Grande Soy Chai Latte," Kim tells Life & Style. Now, both sisters eat either oatmeal or eggs, turkey bacon and fruit. The reality star tells the mag she eats protein at every meal to fill up and makes sure not to deprive herself.  
"If I feel like a milk shake, I have one," says Kim. And most important, they lean on each other for support. "Kim will always call me and be like, 'Let's go do boot camp!' and that motivates me," Khloé tells Life & Style.

The report reveals that the Kardashian's are not the only stars looking bikini-ready this season. The Hills' Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari recently hit the beach in Costa Rica looking toned and trimmed.

Audrina's secret? "When I'm sitting in front of the TV, I lift 5-pound weights or do squats," she tells Life & Style. And Kristin rarely works out, but she sticks to a high-protein diet with a lot of fish, especially salmon, and tons of veggies.

Emmy-winning choreographer Mia Michaels, who has become a huge part of "So You Think You Can Dance," left fans clutching their leg warmers for comfort when recently announcing her departure from the popular show. While it's hard to imagine not getting to watch the gritty yet elegant movements mustered up in Mia land and brought to life through contemporary dancing, she tells us she had to be true to herself as an artist.

"It's been five years since I started the show and it came to a point where not only was I getting opportunities to do my own shows, but I just felt like it was time," she says of leaving. "When you're an artist, when you get comfortable, it's kind of a wrap at that point. You have to stay challenged and on fire. It's the only way to keep growing as an artist. I'm very, very excited about my future and what I'm going to be moving into. It's not to say I'm not going to go back and be a guest on the show. It's a family. There's a lot of love there."
Michaels, who is currently taking some time to nurse a bad back, tells us people won't have time to miss her. "I'm in development right now on three new shows of my own. One of them is linked to a live stage show that will tour. It's like the making of the show and everything that goes into it, and who I am when I create. It will not be about the dance steps. It's not the glossy surface part of dance. It's the meat and potatoes of what dance is to me," explains Michaels, who is also working on a clothing line and writing a book.
"The book that I want to do first talks about my inspirations for every single piece on 'SYTYCD.' You really, really understand that piece. I also write poetry so it's going to include that as well as photographs," she adds. "In the long run, I know that everyone will be happy because I'm expanding myself and I'm going to be back on television doing what I do and being Mia. People will get to see my work and my creative process probably more in depth now more than ever."
FLYING HIGH: "Glee" fans who tune in to tomorrow night's (11/11) installment of the hit Fox show will see Chris Colfer's and Lea Michele's characters having a "diva-off" as they compete to sing "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked." The sequence was inspired by Colfer's own life, he tells us -- since he repeatedly asked to sing "Defying Gravity" in shows back in high school, but was declined again and again on the grounds that "It's a girl's song." Speaking of series creator Ryan Murphy, says Colfer, "I was venting to Ryan about the experience, and the next thing I knew, he'd written it into the show." In fact, initially, a different song was going to be used on 'Glee' since rights to "Defying Gravity" weren't the easiest to secure. But Murphy, says Colfer, "was able to fight a little bit and get it."
Singing "Defying Gravity" was a "personal dream come true" for Colfer. "Being able to perform my favorite song in the entire world, that was just a thrill." But he says it isn't quite so spectacular for his character, Kurt. "He probably isn't fulfilled by the end of the story because of the way the story is. But it's more touching and valuable the way it was written so I couldn't be happier about it." The story has Kurt trying to help his father as he struggles to come to terms with Kurt's homosexuality.
Meanwhile, things continue to be hectic for the 19-year-old actor, despite the fact, "We stopped filming in August. We've been busy ever since, promoting the show here and in Australia. We did a mall tour. Last summer, when we went out to malls, maybe 200 people would be there because only one show had aired. Now, the numbers of people waiting for us are in the thousands. It's a lot like what you'd expect for a rock star."
WHAT'S REAL: Hollywood's hottest bad girl, Kristin Cavallari, (pictured above, right) may enjoy stirring up controversy on this season of "The Hills," but the reality star/actress tells us she's a lot pickier about the friends she makes in real life. "When you make new friends, you just have to be a little cautious and make sure they don't want to be friends with you just because you're famous," says Cavallari. "I'm pretty good at spotting that, though. I have a pretty good instinct with people."
STAR TIME: With a Dec. 2 start date for the Nic Cage-January Jones "The Hungry Rabbit Jumps," the "Mad Men" actress is certainly not going to be relaxing much this holiday season. She's set to go right from the "Rabbit" thriller -- in which she plays Cage's wife, a school teacher who gets beaten and raped, causing his desire for vengeance to become so passionate, he gets involved with a vigilante group -- into "Unknown White Male" with Liam Neeson in January. The latter is a chiller suspense story about a man who blacks out after a car crash he's in while traveling abroad with his wife, only to find someone else has replaced him in his life. Meanwhile, the beauty once best known as the former girlfriend of Ashton Kutcher and Josh Groban is hosting this week's "Saturday Night Live."

Always a fan of shopping, Kristin Cavallari was spotted out and about in West Hollywood, California on a retail romp yesterday (October 19).

The “Laguna Beach” babe looked to be enjoying herself as she headed inside the Arcade boutique on Melrose Avenue to comb the racks.

In related news, Lauren Conrad recently told press about a time when she and Miss Cavallari got into a heated argument that ended in Kristin slapping her across the face.

“I remember getting into an argument because Kristin had said some negative things about me in an article, and it ended with me getting hit in the face. It’s fine. I don’t think she got a very good shot in.”

Always up for a weekend retail outing, Kristin Cavallari was spotted picking up a few items at Switch boutique in Beverly Hills on Saturday (October 17).

Sporting body-hugging workout gear, the "Hills" hottie looked cute as she was joined by a gal pal for the day's outing, which also included a trip to the gym.

In related news, Miss Cavallari's reality show co-star, Stephanie Pratt, hit headlines this morning after getting popped for a DUI at 3:45AM.

Of the arrest, Sgt. Sal Ogaz told People Magazine, "It was your basic DUI. Our traffic officers driving down the street spotted her and pulled her over. She was cooperative and there were no issues with her arrest."

Looking a bit thinner than usual, Audrina Patridge was spotted making her way around Los Angeles on Saturday evening (October 17).

Dressed casually in a black t-shirt with worn jeans, the "Hills" hottie was followed by pesky paparazzi as she did a little shopping around town before heading home to get ready for her weekend affairs.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Patridge recently spoke with press about her ex-beau Justin Bobby's relations with co-star Kristin Cavallari, saying, “At the end of the day, it’s a show. It’s entertainment. And you can’t take anything serious on that show.”

Audrina also noted that she’s not sure how her feud with Kristin is going to end. “I don’t know. I really don’t know how it’s going to play out. We still have three weeks of filming - and that’s it.”

Nevertheless, Patridge is ready to move on from “The Hills.” “I’m an adult now and I don’t need all the petty drama and drinking and fighting. I’ve done that, and I’m ready to move on.”

Taking care of some promotional duties, Kristin Cavallari was spotted arriving at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” studios in Hollywood yesterday (October 15).

The “Hills” babe looked lovely in a sexy little black dress with black heels and a black handbag as she strolled past the waiting paparazzi.

Earlier in the day, Kristin was seen tending to her amazing physique, leaving a Yoga class at a Los Angeles fitness center.

Miss Cavallari seemed distracted as she texted away on her mobile phone, flashing a smile for the nearby shutterbugs.

Enjoying a midweek evening out, Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner were spotted grabbing some grub at Philippe Chow last night (October 14).

The “Hills” costars looked to be having a good time as they chatted at the West Hollywood hot spot while also filming an episode of the hit MTV reality show.

And Miss Cavallari looked fabulous in an above-the-knee black dress while Brody went for the casual look in a grey t-shirt with black trousers and black flip-flops.

Given the building tension between Kristin and Brody’s girlfriend Jayde Nicole, last night’s dinner date is sure to cause some commotion.

Keeping busy with the day's errands, Kristin Cavallari took a friend to the Time Warner Cable store in West Hollywood, California on Monday afternoon (October 12).

The "Hills" hottie was casually dressed in a grey sweatshirt and black leggings as she chatted on her cell phone as her gal pal followed along.

Meanwhile, Miss Cavallari's recent comments about her past sex life with ex-boyfriend/co-star Brody Jenner have ushered a response from the reality stud.

Speaking to E! News, Jenner said: "I laugh at that, and you'll laugh too once you see the rest of the season. I take the high road, but she was obviously just bitter about something."

Always up for a little PDA, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were ever the loved-up couple as the left the Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday night (October 10).

The MTV reality star couple posed and kissed as paparazzi snapped up shots before hitting the town for a fun-filled weekend outing.

And while Heidi and Spencer have their fair-share of critics, fellow "Hills" co-star Kristin Cavallari isn't one of them, as she previously told press, “I love them. I actually unfortunately do not get to work with them too much. They’re kind of off in their own little married land… I love hanging out with them.”

Unable to make things work, Audrina Patridge is back on the market – as she and BMX racer Corey Bohan have called it quits.

"Yes, she is single," Patridge's rep told press of the couple’s relationship status.

The “Hills” hottie and her man have been on and off again since 2008, even appearing on “The Hills” before getting back together this summer.

Miss Patridge showed up solo at Auto Club Speedway’s Pepsi 500 party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where she discussed the gossip on “The Hills”.

And tension is still there between Audrina and Kristin Cavallari. "For the show, we'll probably have to sometimes be friends or whatever, but outside of that, who I really hang out with are not those type of people like Kristin," Audrina said.

Audrina also isn’t bringing any friends from “The Hills” onto her new reality show.

"The whole tone of the new show is going to be entirely different," she said. "It's just like me and my family and my life and Hollywood—my normal life."
