Cheryl Cole is planning a $150,000 holiday to celebrate her birthday. Cheryl turns 27 next week and is set to mark her special day at her Surrey mansion with her family. However, her hectic work schedule will ease up later this summer and she has decided to travel to the Spanish party island of Ibiza to have some fun.

Cheryl’s Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding has convinced the star to take a break from work and join her in Ibiza while her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane is working at some of the clubs. Their bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts are also expected to spend a few days there, along with Cheryl’s collaborator will.i.am.
“On the other hand, she sees this birthday as a major milestone in her life,” a source told Grazia magazine. “She’s ready to move forward in a big way and on her own terms. The vast majority of the time, her life is all about discipline. She’s so busy that if she’s not strict with herself then she’d go mad or get seriously ill, but everyone needs to let their hair down sometimes.”
Cheryl and Sarah are renting an eight-bedroom mansion in Ibiza which has its own swimming pool and private chef. The stars are also keen to hire a yacht and will be indulging in a series of luxurious beauty therapies.
Those close to Cheryl are believed to be encouraging the star to let loose and party during her time on the island with Sarah.
“Sarah is great for getting Cheryl to relax her normally highly regimented life,” the source added. “With Sarah, Cheryl stays out late, drinks more than usual and eases up on her diet. Sarah is the only one who can get her to relax her no-carbohydrates rule, but that’s kind of a metaphor for their relationship. Sarah’s the queen of fun and Cheryl is finally ready to have some herself.”

Kimberley Walsh is "feeling broody".

The Girls Aloud star - who has been dating partner Justin Scott for six years - wants to settle down and raise a family with her boyfriend eventually, but isn't ready to give into her maternal urges at the moment.

She said: "Yeah I am feeling broody, but I am not ready to have that commitment just yet. Eventually I would like to settle down and have children.

"We're both in the same place and we're enjoying our lives together at the moment so hopefully it will just naturally come about."

Kimberley Walsh is supporting Cheryl Cole through her marriage split.

The Girls Aloud singer admits she is particularly close to her bandmate - who separated from soccer star husband Ashley Cole earlier this year amid allegations he had cheated on her with several women - and hopes she has been as supportive for her pal as she has been to her in the past.

She said: "Of course, it's hard when any of your friends go through something upsetting. But all you can do is be as supportive as you possibly can be.

"With Cheryl and Nicola Roberts, it's the same. I don't know why we've bonded like we have, but I'd count them among my best friends. I look back at certain moments and think, 'What would I have done without them?' I wouldn't have coped."

While Kimberley is close to Cheryl and Nicola, she admits she has "drifted apart" from Los Angeles-based bandmate Nadine Coyle and admits they don't socialise together.

The Girls Aloud singer has been in a relationship with Triple 8 singer Justin Scott for six years and although she admits they think about tying the knot, she doesn't feel under any pressure to wed.

When quizzed on wedding plans, she said: "It is headed that way, but to be honest we feel quite young still. There's this pressure all the time to do the next thing - get engaged, get married, have a baby.

"It's just because the media want something new to say, but now I feel like if we announce it, everyone will just be like, 'Oh, right, yeah, what took you so long?' "

Although they are unsure when they will make the final commitment to one another, Kimberley insists she and Justin are happier than ever.

The 'No Good Advice' hitmakers - Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle - worry about losing their footwear when performing tricky dance routines on stage, so have learned to secure them to prevent accidents.

Kimberley revealed: "My best kept fashion secret is that when Girls Aloud are on tour we have see-through elastic bands that wrap around our feet so that our shoes don't fall off while dancing."

Cheryl Cole performed at the BRIT Awards last night (16.02.10) without her wedding ring.

The 26-year-old singer left her £160,000 diamond-encrusted band at home as she performed an energetic version of 'Fight for This Love' at London's Earls Court - the first time she has been seen in public since revelations of her husband Ashley Cole's alleged affair emerged.

She reportedly vowed: "Nothing's going to ruin my big night."

After her performance, Cheryl smiled at the star-studded audience and said, 'Thank you, thank you,' while members of the crowd chanted, 'Dump him, dump him.'

She was comforted by her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, who hugged her as she left the stage.

Before the show, backstage staff were ordered to leave Cheryl alone after she cancelled all interviews and photoshoots.

Another source said: "There was a directive that she should be left alone.

"Cheryl was nowhere to be seen. She just hid herself away. And when she did finally emerge for rehearsals, organisers made all the photographers leave the auditorium."

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Ashley - who is recovering from a broken ankle - wanted to take Cheryl on a romantic break to Dubai to help solve their marriage problems.

But Cheryl has cancelled all plans for the romantic trip after explicit messages and photographs of Ashley in his underwear emerged on two other women's phones - an unnamed blonde office worker and glamour model Sonia Wilde.

She said: "I'm definitely leaning towards having a family much more. I don't know whether it's my age or because I've got to a point in my life where I'm more happy to settle down and look after someone else rather than just thinking about myself, but I'm feeling that maternal urge."

The 28-year-old star admitted she and bandmate Cheryl Cole - who is married to soccer player Ashley Cole - are constantly encouraging one another to start a family but neither wants to be the first in the group to fall pregnant.

She told Britain's Hello! magazine: "Cheryl and I kind of push each other to go first because we'd love to have a baby around. I say, 'Why don't you have one and I'll just look after it, and Cheryl says, 'No, why don't you?'

Nadine Coyle feels cut off from the rest of Girls Aloud.

The sexy singer is based in Los Angeles while the rest of the group - Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts - are in London and friends say relations between her and her bandmates are "strained".

A source said: "I think the main problem is that Nadine lives in Los Angeles and the rest of the girls all live in the UK.

"The girls are all really busy but they meet up in London when they can and chat on the phone all the time.

"Unfortunately because Nadine isn't around she must feel like she's being left out. It's not intentional but I think Nadine must be feeling a bit frozen out.

"I don't think there has been much contact between Nadine and the others since they went their separate ways at the start of the summer so I wouldn't be surprised if things feel a bit awkward and strained when they meet up."

Girls Aloud are supporting Coldplay at Wembley Stadium this weekend and Nadine is said to be considering her future with the group after the shows.

The source added to Northern Ireland's Belfast Telegraph: "I think it's difficult for Nadine - she must feel very torn. She's trying to juggle two lives - one in Los Angeles with her family and boyfriend and one in London with Girls Aloud.

Kimberley Walsh is scared of camping after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

The Girls Aloud star - who climbed the African mountain with a group of celebrities, including her bandmate Cheryl Cole and Take That star Gary Barlow, earlier this year for charity - found the experience so difficult she even cut short her trip to this year's V Festival in Chelmsford because she couldn't face another night under canvas.

She admitted: "It's nice, we can just chill out in the sun. We're just here for the day. After the whole Kilimanjaro thing, camping's a no-no in my mind. There was just no way I could do it."

Girls Aloud are currently enjoying a year-long hiatus to concentrate on solo ventures, and although Kimberley is keen to get back to work she admits she is loving having time off to spend with her loved ones.

Nicola Roberts is going back to school.

The Girls Aloud singer is using the group's current hiatus to enrol in a college course to boost her beauty knowledge to give her more technical expertise when working on her Dainty Doll make-up range.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Nicola is serious about her beauty range and doesn't want to put her name to anything she's not 100 per cent sure of.

"She wants to know the ins and outs of everything, which is why she's looking into doing a course.

"The range started off as a bit of fun for the TV show 'Passions of Girls Aloud' but now she's focused on making Dainty Doll work. If that means going back to school to learn about the business, then she's prepared to do it."

While Nicola focuses on her beauty range, the remaining members of Girls Aloud are using their year-long sabbatical to concentrate on different ventures.

Sarah Harding is currently filming a new 'St. Trinians' movie and hopes to land further acting roles, while Kimberley Walsh is also taking acting classes.
