U.S. actress Jennifer Aniston gently poked back at right-wing Fox commentator Bill O'Reilly, who raked her for remarks about single mothers, Parade reported.

In "The Switch," Aniston plays a woman who uses a sperm donor to conceive. While promoting the movie, Aniston said a woman's ability to have a child didn't necessarily include a man in her life. "Women are realizing it more and more, knowing that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child," she told reporters this week. "Love is love and family is what is around you and who is in your immediate sphere."

On his Fox show, "The O'Reilly Factor," O'Reilly ripped the actress, saying Aniston was sending the wrong signal to children: "She's throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, 'Hey you don't need a guy. You don't need a dad. That is destructive to our society."

Aniston responded with humor, telling People magazine, "Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth. And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who've not yet found their Bill O'Reilly, I'm just glad science has provided a few other options."

Accused Jennifer Aniston Stalker Gets Stay Away Order

A California court official on Monday issued a stay away order against a man accused of stalking Jennifer Aniston and laying in wait for the actress with a sharp object, a bag, duct tape and written messages for her.

Santa Monica Superior Court Commissioner David A. Cowen ordered 24-year-old Jason Peyton to stay away from Aniston's home and anywhere she is working for the next three years.

In court papers, lawyers for Aniston said Peyton is a "diagnosed delusional paranoid schizophrenic" and "poses a credible threat of violence and imminent danger" to the former "Friends" star.

Peyton allegedly drove to Los Angeles from Pennsylvania this summer with "I Love You Jennifer Aniston" etched into the paint on his car, then waited for her in "an apparent planned abduction," lawyers said in court filings.

A temporary order was previously issued to Peyton in July.

This is the third restraining order issued for star stalkers in California this past week, beginning with Leonardo DiCaprio's alleged bottle attacker, followed by the man accused of pestering Sandra Bullock for nearly a decade.

"This is clearly a case of a fan going beyond being a fan," a judge said of the Bullock incident. "This is the downside of celebrity."

Barbra Streisand says a striking magazine shoot of Jennifer Aniston's paying homage to the legendary performer was a compliment. "I was very flattered that Jennifer Aniston chose to interpret my style with the photos in Harper's Bazaar," Streisand wrote on her website.

The Oscar and Grammy winner went on to describe the younger actress as "a delightful person", praising her efforts saying, "I think she did a wonderful job."

The former Friend's star had posed in the vogue of the original Funny Girl, recreating the now 68-year-old's distinctive look from the 60s and 70s for Harpers Bazaar. But there was one thing the 41-year-old actress didn't recreate in the spread.
"If only she had a bump on her nose," Streisand joked.

Brooklyn Decker wants to be "barefoot and pregnant". The 23-year-old model is looking forward to settling down and starting a family with her husband, tennis star Andy Roddick, but admits it is unlikely to happen any time soon.

She said: "I want to live a normal life - drive my kids to school, have tons of animals running around, be barefoot and pregnant. I want all that, just not anytime soon."
The blonde beauty recently made her movie debut in romantic comedy 'Just Go With It' - which is scheduled for release in February 2011 - and admits she surprised her co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler with her less-than-glamorous appearance.
She explained to Women's Health magazine: "When people hear 'bikini model' they have one thing on their mind.
"Then they see you're someone who shows up to the set in pajamas and no make-up, watches sports and belches."
Brooklyn - who was recently named Esquire magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive - thinks the role in the romantic comedy is the perfect way for her to start off in the movie industry.
She said: "'Just Go With It' has just wrapped and it's definitely the most exciting thing I've done. It was a big first for me. It really opened up a whole new field for me to go into, and I just felt really lucky to go to work on such a big movie. It was really cool to be a part of that and learn the process of acting.
"I'm Adam Sandler's love interest, so it's a very funny romantic comedy. There are lots of twist and turns. It's just a funny, happy, feel-good movie. And he was just a dream to work with, so supportive. It was just one of those dream scenarios."

Jennifer Aniston - Making People Laugh?

Jennifer Aniston says people "laugh" at her. The Hollywood star often gets the impression she is the butt of other people's jokes but she is comfortable with it because she has a great sense of humor.

Speaking in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine - in which Aniston poses as Barbra Streisand from her iconic movies 'Funny Girl' and 'What's Up, Doc?' - she said: "People laugh at me. Sometimes I know why, and sometimes I don't. But I can pretty much find humor in anything. That is a necessary part of life. I don't want to say laughter is healing, because it sounds corny, but it's a release."
Aniston was delighted to be able to do a photo shoot inspired by Streisand because she has always admired the actress-and-singer.
The 41-year-old actress has even taken career advice from the 68-year-old screen legend.
Aniston added: "Barbra and I are people who have been put in the spotlight, for better or for worse, and you just keep riding, and you keep overcoming.
"Barbra inspires me because there isn't anything she hasn't done that she wanted to do. She's a true renaissance woman.
"I had a long conversation with Barbra about directing because I directed a short a couple years ago, and if I don't do it again soon, I'm going to burst out of my skin."

Nobody would argue that 2010 has been an up-and-down year for Sandra Bullock, given her best actress Oscar for "The Blind Side" followed by her divorce from scandal-plagued husband Jesse James.

But on Tuesday, Bullock landed atop Hollywood's heap again when financial website Forbes.com named her the highest paid actress of the past 12 months having earned $56 million from two box office hits, romantic comedy "The Proposal" and football film, "The Blind Side."

Bullock not only received a fee for acting, but also participated in the profits, and for both films, the box office numbers were hefty, according to Forbes.com. "The Blind Side" took in nearly $310 million at global box offices on a budget of around $30 million, while "Proposal" racked up just under $320 million and cost roughly $40 million.

Tied for the No. 2 spot were Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz, both making $32 million. Though Witherspoon has not been on screen since 2008, she received advance paychecks for upcoming films, "How Do You Know" and "Water for Elephants".

Diaz's pot of gold was filled with money from the "Knight and Day" and "Shrek" films, which have grossed $2.8 billion at the global box office.

Jennifer Aniston came in at fourth place with $27 million, and "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker was No. 5 at $25 million.

To determine actresses' compensation, Forbes.com talked to talent agents, managers, producers and lawyers and looked at other means of revenue such as perfume and clothing lines and ad campaigns.

Forbes.com based its figures on earnings from June 2009 to June 2010. Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston were the highest paid actresses during a similar period one year earlier.

Angelina Jolie Promotes 'Real Man' Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie loves Brad Pitt because he's a "real man". The 'Salt' actress - who raises six children with the Hollywood hunk - has praised her lover for having all of the "best" personality traits associated with being a father figure and movie star.

She said: "He's strong, intelligent, he's sensitive - and he's a real man, in all the best ways that can mean."
Despite continual speculation into their private life, the 35-year-old beauty admits they are stable enough in their relationship - which started back in 2005 shortly after they met on 'Mr and Mrs Smith', when Brad was still married to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston - to laugh off gossip and untrue stories about themselves.
She explained: "We're great. And we can laugh about most of the things written about us because we're OK."
Brad and Angelina lead very hectic lives looking after their brood - adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara and biological kids Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne - whilst working on their acting careers.
To keep their relationship alive, the pair often "schedule" date nights, to allow them to take a break from being parents and focus on being a couple.
She explained to Live magazine: "We actually schedule them. We just had one the other night and we went next door so we didn't have to worry about the paparazzi and the kids didn't know where we were."
"We have a house that has two sections so we go to the part that's normally the studio and the office and just have dinner as a couple. If you can hold it together - which is hard these days and a lot of people separate - then you have to work at it, and you have to make that time when you are not Mom and Dad once in a while."

Miramax Sale Includes Gnome Cartoon, Jennifer Aniston Comedy

The Elton John-produced cartoon "Gnomeo & Juliet" and three other completed pictures are included in Disney's sale of Miramax Films, and actor Rob Lowe is part of the buying group.

Those were among the details emerging in the wake of the agreement late Thursday to sell the Miramax name and film library for $660 million to a group led by construction executive Ronald Tutor and investment firm Colony Capital.

The buyers also include Jerome Swartz, an engineer who invented the laser scanner that allows for bar coding for products. Swartz founded, ran and sold Symbol Technologies and now is a college professor and philanthropist. Sources say he is putting in $50 million, while Tutor and Colony Capital's Tom Barrack each will invest $100 million in equity.

That will leave about $300 million that must be raised as debt. There is also cash held by Miramax and receivables due over the next five years that helps reduce the effective acquisition cost to about $600 million.

Lowe is involved through a media investment fund he recently created with Barrack. The actor, newly confirmed as a regular on NBC's "Parks and Recreation," said Friday that this is the first investment by the fund.

"The acquisition of a classic brand like Miramax is an exciting first step in my partnership with Tom Barrack and Colony Capital," he said. "This represents an exciting new chapter for me. And Tom and I could not have a better partner on our first deal together than Ron Tutor."

The investors do not include Hollywood producer James Robinson of Morgan Creek, apparently because of a last-minute dispute over how large his role would be in the new company. He could return later.

The movies in the deal will be distributed by Disney under an agreement to handle distribution in all media for the new company for at least a year. That is intended to give Miramax time to hire an executive team, staff up and create an infrastructure to handle its own distribution and production.

The first pictures from the new Miramax will be:

-- "Gnomeo & Juliet," set for a wide release February 11: There was a question about whether this family film about warring indoor and outdoor gnomes would be included because Disney was so high on it. Now in postproduction, it was produced by Elton John's Rocket Pictures. It was financed by Miramax and made under contract at the Starz Animation studio in Toronto. The voice cast includes James McAvoy (as Gnomeo), Emily Blunt (as Juliet), Michael Caine, Maggie Smith and Patrick Stewart.

-- "The Switch" (wide release August 20): Known during production as "The Turkey Baster," this comedy stars Jennifer Aniston as an unmarried 40-year-old woman who uses a turkey baster to be artificially inseminated and becomes pregnant. Seven years later, she discovers that her best friend replaced the sperm she had specially chosen with his own. It also stars Jason Bateman, Juliette Lewis and Jeff Goldblum.

-- "The Debt" (opens December 29 on more than 1,000 screens before expanding): Helen Mirren stars in this drama directed by John Madden about an Israeli agent who is killed on a secret mission to find a doctor who is a Nazi war criminal. The doctor resurfaces 30 years later. The cast includes Sam Worthington, Tom Wilkinson and Jessica Chastain.

-- "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" (wide release January 21): The subject of a panel discussion at Comic-Con, the horror film is produced by Guillermo del Toro and stars Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce.

"The Tempest," directed by Julie Taymor and originally made for Miramax, is being kept by Disney. It will screen at the Venice and New York film festivals before getting a December 10 platform release.

Jen should be in good shape for her return to broadcast TV. Earlier the hard body actress admitted her slim figure doesn't come without hard work as she exercises every day.
The 41-year-old star recently launched her debut fragrance in the UK and admitted that she likes to keep in shape to look her best.

She said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: "It's simple. Run, work out every day. I do a lot of running - exercise is so important. Plus it's all about balance. Work, exercise, diet, you need balance."
She added: "I am, perhaps, fortunate in that my career, the public awareness it brings, gives me a certain freedom in this way.
"But, of course, there are positives and negatives in any career, it's not all going to be perfect."
