More couples news...Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love Hewitt has said she and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy are 'not rushing' an engagement. The 30-year-old actress has been dating Kennedy, 39, since the beginning of 2009, but she said they aren't planning to take things one step further any time soon.
In June last year, Jennifer sparked rumors that she wanted to get engaged when she said in a radio interview: "If by this time next year, we're not planning something, then there's a situation."
In a new interview, she said: "The engagement thing was blown out of all proportion. "When I made that comment about there being a 'situation', I wasn't really giving him a time clock. "If it's going to happen, it will happen, but right now we are not rushing anything. We are both just really happy."

Jamie Lynn Spears Split From Casey Aldridge - U.S. actress Jamie Lynn Spears has broken up with her longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge, UsMagazine.com said Friday.

The former couple are the parents of a 19-month-old daughter, Maddie Briann.

Spears, who is the 18-year-old sister of pop star Britney Spears and the former star of the Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101," has kept a low-profile since giving birth to her daughter at the age of 17 in June 2008.

She reportedly is raising her child in her native Louisiana.

Courtney Love ripped on her teen daughter Frances Bean Cobain on Facebook with what is being dubbed as a "tirade' by Actress Archives.  he note basically says she hopes her daughter doesn't end up like Jamie Lynn Spears.  The Hollywood Gossip calls that a cheap shot.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Love lost custody of her teenage daughter, court papers have revealed. Since then, she has taken to Facebook for communication.

Frances Bean Cobain – Love’s 17-year-old daughter with Kurt Cobain – is now being cared for by the late Nirvana frontman’s mother and sister. The reasons behind the change of custody are not clear.
Documents filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday show that Wendy O’Connor, Kurt’s mother, and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, his sister, have been named temporary guardians. The papers state their role is to 'provide for temporary care, maintenance and support' and 'protect property from loss or injury'.

A hearing to appoint a 'general guardian' is pending, according to the documents. It is not the first time Love, who previously fronted rock band Hole, has lost custody of Frances Bean.
The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services stepped in in 2003, after the troubled singer was treated for an accidental overdose of OxyContin medication.

Jamie Lynn Spears has reportedly called off her engagement to her baby daddy Casey Aldridge.  The 18-year-old, who is the younger sister of Britney Spears, got engaged to Casey when he proposed when she turned 17. The couple are parents to one-year-old daughter Maddie Briann.

A pal of the star said: "Casey proposed when Jamie turned 17. He gave her a gold band with numerous diamonds and one larger stone, bt she has given it back to him.

"It's been more than enough for her to adjust to new motherhood for now." The Zoey 101 star caused controversy when she announced she was pregnant in December 2007 as she was just 16 years old at the time.
More Britney - the pop star Spears has hired a pair of Aussie songwriting twins to make her a No.1 single, it has been claimed. The 27-year-old singer, who is still traveling the world with her hit Circus tour, has already set her sights on getting another number one track. She has reportedly asked Aussie twins Olivia and Miriam Nervo to pen a track for her. The twins were behind Kelly Rowland and David Guetta's recent number one single When Love Takes Over.

Jamie Lynn Spears is back with baby daddy and truck racer Casey Aldridge though the two weren't all that happy with having their picture taken recently.  Casey had a beer in hand and Jamie was busy flipping the bird.  Fortunately for the young mother she wasn't near a chimp named Pedro at the Berlin zoo, as he likes fingers as well - to eat!

CNews is reporting that the Berlin Zoo's director was chomped on by the chimp run amok and "will likely lose the finger a chimpanzee nearly bit off as he tried to feed it."  He was feeding walnuts to Pedro the chimp and it appears he was aggressive enough to bite it almost completely off.

Jamie Lynn Spears boyfriend Casey Aldridge has been taken out of intensive care and has been walking about, following a car accident where he sustained a head injury, according to reports. The 20-year-old, who has a 10-month-old daughter with Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn, was admitted to hospital recently when his pickup truck flipped over on the driver's side.

The accident resulted in several injuries and during the crash, three occupants were ejected. There were five people, including Casey, travelling in the truck and had earlier attended a bachelor party for Aldridge's cousin nearby.

A source said: "He came out of ICU." The source added that he had been "walking around twice". The source added to PEOPLE: "He was a little wobbly because that's the first time he's been up since the wreck."
Talking about how 18-year-old Jamie Lynn had coped with her boyfriend's accident, the source added: "I've been very proud of her." The source added: "I'm really impressed."

Police have ruled out drugs or alcohol as the cause of the car crash that left Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn Spears' boyfriend injured this weekend, it has been reported. Casey Aldridge, who has a baby daughter with Britney Spears' younger sister Jamie Lynn, was airlifted to hospital after he swerved into a ditch while driving down a Louisiana highway in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It has since emerged that three of the five people riding in the truck – including Aldridge himself – were thrown from the vehicle as it flipped over. The 20-year-old suffered mild brain trauma and a fractured skull, while another passenger sustained a broken collarbone, and a third injured his hip, reports celebrity website, TMZ.com.

Jamie Lynn, 18, is said to have rushed to Aldridge's bedside as doctors keep him under observation at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Following the crash, he was slapped with a misdemeanor charge of careless operation of a vehicle – but authorities have said there was no indication he was drunk or on drugs at the time of the crash.
Aldridge had attended a cousin's bachelor party prior to the accident. He was engaged to Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn – but they reportedly called off their wedding plans last month.

We've seen plenty of Britney Spears hospital runs throughout the year, but this time her little sister, actress Jamie Lynn Spears, is involved and she has rushed to see her baby daddy Casey Aldridge.  The young man has been injured, reports AOL's celebrity gossip website TMZ.

Conflicting reports have the young man headed into surgery or in stable condition.  He first hit the emergency room last night and has since been admitted to the hospital.

Radar online has an updated report on Sunday afternoon and they claim that one time Nickelodeon TV starlet Jamie Lynn is at the side of her baby daddy.  There were reports that the pair were set for marriage, but the two young people have yet to tie the knot.

On to Jamie Lynn, is it mama or baby that needs a new pair of shoes?  She took time off after giving birth to daughter, Maddie last June, but now Jamie Lynn Spears is looking to restart her career.  “She’s been reading scripts for a month, trying to find the right project,” says a Spears family insider.

"She likes the schedule for movies better than TV.  She figures with a movie, she’d work for a few months, then be off with Maddie.”  The former Zoey 101 star is also considering music options.  “Larry Rudolph [big sis Britney’s manager] is interested in helping Jamie put together a CD,” says the insider.
