Oscar winner Halle Berry will star in "Shoe Addicts Anonymous," a film about about four Chicago women who all wear the same size 7 1/2 and are addicted to shoes.  According to "The Wrap" the women develop a bond that eventually goes beyond footwear.

Berry will play an agoraphobe (extreme or irrational fear of crowded spaces or enclosed public places.)  who feeds her addiction by buying shoes online.  
More movie news of the chick flick variety - Actress Kristin Davis says Sex and the City could have seen its last days. Kristin, who plays the character Charlotte in the hit film series, is uncertain whether there will be a third Sex and the City film.
When asked about the film's future, Davis told Eonline.com: "I don't think so, not that I know of. "I wish it was so that we were continuing but I don't know." The 45-year-old admits there has been no official statement yet but feels it might have come to an end because of the last movie's bad box office sales in the US.
The star said: "We made 300 million internationally. "There was so much hype, not coming from us, but the media hyped it up and then they tore it down." Although there is a slight beacon of hope for fans of the film series. She added: "I could be wrong. "Obviously there was a time when we thought there was no movie happening, so you never know, but it is not looking great."

She may be a superhero who can summon thunder and lightning but sometimes a girl just wants to wear pretty shoes. Hence the news this morning that Halle Berry has signed up for Shoe Addicts Anonymous, based on the novel by Beth Harbison.

An unashamed "beach read" published in 2007, Shoe Addicts is the story of four women who meet weekly for shoe-swapping parties. There's a senator's trophy wife; an overweight phone-sex operator; a society nanny (who actually isn't interested in footwear but just wants to get out of the house); and the debt-ridden Lorna, who places the internet ad that the rest respond to. Shoe Addicts Anonymous was followed a year later by Secrets of a Shoe Addict, so there's series potential, folks. Harbison is also the author of something called Thin, Rich and Pretty. You can see where this might be headed.

We'd have guessed that Berry would be Lorna, who seems to be essentially the central character of the four. But Deadline peg her as "an agorophobe who feeds her addiction with online shoe purchases" which makes her Phone-Sex Girl. Is Berry going to pile on some pounds? Or will Kristen Buckley and Brian Regan's script (they were the pair behind How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days) do some re-jigging of the source?

Whatever, it all goes to show that, despite the critical drubbing dished out to Sex and the City 2, the cha-ching of the ticket registers proves that there's still life in the consumerist chick-flick. But hey, maybe this'll be one for foot fetishists too. Paul Weiland (Made of Honour, Blackadder, Mr Bean) is directing, and shooting starts before the autumn. 

Audrey Hepburn is the most beautiful woman of the last century, according to a new poll. The British actress is famed for her roles in films such as Breakfast At Tiffany's and My Fair Lady. She was known for her glamorous appearance; often posing in simple dresses paired with pearls and hats, and passed away of cancer in 1993 aged 63.

In a survey by television channel QVC, 2,000 women were asked who they thought the most beautiful women of the last 100 years were. The poll was taken to mark QVC’s Beauty Month, taking place throughout July.
Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole won second place. The star has undergone a style overhaul in recent years, becoming known for her glossy hair and fashion-forward style. She judges UK talent contest The X Factor, and is regularly praised for the unusual outfits she wears on the show.
Marilyn Monroe, who died in 1962 aged 36, came in third. Marilyn was known for her curvy figure, with her body regularly lauded as being the perfect shape. Actress Angelina Jolie scooped the fourth spot, with Grace Kelly rounding out the top five.
A number of big name stars shocked with their failure to make the top ten, including Dame Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Kylie Minogue and Beyoncé Knowles.

Halle Berry and her former partner Gabriel Aubry have reportedly been considering their legal options regarding custody of their daughter Nahla.  According to reports, the actress is slated to spend three months in South Africa filming a new movie and wanted her daughter to travel with her, reportedly prompting Aubry to explore what legal avenues he could pursue regarding permanent custody.

"It’s been pretty difficult for Gabriel to see Nahla the last few weeks,” Radar Online quotes a source saying.
“He’s really getting sick of it and it’s getting to the point where he is seriously considering his options regarding pursuing permanent custody. He refuses to give up rights to his daughter, he loves her more than anything and is determined to be a regular, full-time fixture in her life.”

The Oscar winner and the model, who announced their split last month, are said to have worked out an agreement that will see the former couple share a house while Berry works.
“Basically Halle is going to pay Gabriel to be a kind of full-time nanny and to come to South Africa for the three months she’s there, and to be Nahla’s full-time caregiver,” the source said.

The Oscar-winning beauty and her 34-year-old former partner - who split up last month after five years together - have failed to come to an agreement for care arrangements of their daughter while the actress is filming in South Africa, so the Canadian model has decided to travel with her to care for the tot.

A source said: "Halle is going to pay Gabriel to be a kind of full time nanny and to come to South Africa for the three months she's there, and to be Nahla's full-time caregiver.

"Halle has a huge house that's being rented for her and she and Gabriel are going to try to live under the same roof and get along for the sake of Nahla.

The source added: "The latest issue is that Halle is due to move to South Africa during July, August and September to work on a movie and she wants to take Nahla with her full time. "That would mean Gabriel not seeing his daughter for three whole months and there's no way he's going to allow that."

Halle Berry dumped Gabriel Aubry months ago, according to reports. A source close to the pair told People: “She kicked him out months ago because he wasn't able to pull his weight in the relationship and she wanted to move on.”  The actress' rep told syndicated entertainment TV news show "The Insider" nearly the same, confirming, "Berry and Aubry split some time ago, but remain close."

The couple have a two-year-old daughter, Nahla. “They’re very amicable in healthy ways because of their child," the source said.
"Her main concern is for the health and happiness of her daughter." Meanwhile, the mystery man Berry, 43, was spotted holding hands with in New York on Friday evening has been dismissed as just a friend.

The source said: “They’re old friends. The photographers were chasing them so he just instinctively grabbed her hand.” In a statement to Access Hollywood, Aubry confirmed the couple who have been together for four years have parted ways.
"While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time," the 34-year-old French-Canadian model said.
Berry and Aubry met at a Versace store opening in Manhattan in February 2006. They never married.

Halle Berry reportedly "kicked out" Gabriel Aubry several months ago after realising their relationship was over.

The Oscar-winning actress decided to end her four-and-a-half year union with the Canadian model as she knew her future wasn't with him, but wanted the split to be as amicable as possible for the sake of their daughter, Nahla, two.

A source told People magazine: "She kicked him out months ago because he wasn't able to pull his weight in the relationship and she wanted to move on.

"They're very amicable in healthy ways because of their child. Her main concern is for the health and happiness of her daughter."

A representative for twice-married Halle confirmed the break-up, saying: "They have been split for some time, but remain friends and committed parents to their daughter."

Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, denies her age is to blame for their split.

The Canadian model told how the breakup of his four and a half year relationship was amicable, and denied the nine-year age gap between him and 43-year-old Halle was a factor, as had previously been reported.

He told Access Hollywood: "While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time.

"She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another."

The actress and the French-Canadian model - who have a two-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry together but are not married - have ended their romance and are currently working out financial and custody arrangements, according to RadarOnline.com.

It was Gabriel, 34, who allegedly decided to call time on his five-year relationship with 43-year-old Halle and their nine-year age gap is believed to have been a factor in his decision.

A source said: "Gabriel just felt it wasn't working anymore. When they were first together the nine-year age difference between them didn't faze him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. He felt he needed to break it off with Halle."

The relationship ended a couple of months ago and Halle has been using the services of Judy Bogen, a family law attorney from Beverly Hills law firm Hersch Mannis and Bogen, to sort out custody conditions for Nahla and various financial matters.

The source added: "Gabriel's main concern was custody of Nahla, he loves that little girl more than anything, and wanted 50/50 joint physical custody of her, which Halle agreed to.
