The Spice Girls singer - who befriended the Girls Aloud star when her husband David Beckham played on the 2006 England soccer squad alongside Cheryl's spouse Ashley Cole - has offered advice and support as her pal struggles to cope with allegations of Ashley's infidelity.

Victoria said: "I support Cheryl 100 per cent. I have not spoken to her, but I'm always there for her. I'm behind her - I feel for anyone going through a tough time.

"I have so much sympathy for Cheryl. My heart goes out to her - both as a woman and as someone in the media spotlight. I feel for her so much, it's a horrible situation but she's a fantastic, strong woman and she will be fine. David's not a Premiership player now, so I can't relate entirely. But I do sympathise."

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell has also vowed to help the 26-year-old pop star beauty - who he works with on the judging panel of UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' - through her troubles and has praised her for being a "strong girl" and handling the situation well.

I don't know Ashley well. I only see him every once in a while at the show, but Cheryl's my friend. So I have her back.

"When news came out about me moving her to LA, I've been getting non-stop contact from top guys in this city asking me to set them up with Cheryl.

"When - or actually if - she is ever ready to date someone, of course I will hook her up."

The 26-year-old pop star - who dumped the 29-year-old sportsman two weeks ago, after it was claimed he had slept with several other women and sent them X-rated text messages and explicit photographs of himself - performed her hit single 'Fight for This Love' on Denmark's version of 'The X Factor' last night (05.03.10), without wearing her wedding ring.

Cheryl - who wore a military inspired outfit with a police style hat - told the audience in Copenhagen: "It's a pleasure to be here."

It was confirmed that 'The X Factor' judge used her maiden name, Tweedy, to book her flight into Denmark and secure her hotel room.

Her spokesman told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Cheryl's name on her passport is Cheryl Tweedy which is why her flight was booked under that name. Her passport was not changed when she married Ashley. As for the hotel booking, it is always made under an alias. All pop stars do the same and she was doing that when she was in Girls Aloud as well."

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Brian is trying to persuade her to give it a shot in Los Angeles.

The 'Fight for This Love' singer had windows in her £4 million Surrey mansion, South East England, forced open at 4.30am yesterday (18.02.10) while her soccer player husband Ashley Cole was asleep upstairs.

After being disturbed, Ashley made a panicked telephone to police asking for help.

He said: "Please come quick. Someone's trying to break in."

Police arrived shortly after the call, but the intruders had already fled. Forensic experts were searching the mansion for clues yesterday.

It is believed the intruders may have been hoping to steal Cheryl's wedding rings which are worth £310,000.

The Girls Aloud star flew to Los Angeles on Wednesday (17.02.10) without her expensive sparklers, following Ashley's alleged infidelity with a blonde secretary.

When she left for LAX airport, Cheryl was wearing a gold-coloured ring instead.

A police source said: "It cannot be coincidence that people attempt to break into the family home when both of them are due to be out of the UK."

Meanwhile, Cheryl has asked to be given some time alone during her promotional trip to the US.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Ashley - who is recovering from a broken ankle - wanted to take Cheryl on a romantic break to Dubai to help solve their marriage problems.

But Cheryl has cancelled all plans for the romantic trip after explicit messages and photographs of Ashley in his underwear emerged on two other women's phones - an unnamed blonde office worker and glamour model Sonia Wilde.

A collection of over 300 messages were allegedly sent to the secretary by Ashley in October 2008.

One of the photographs shows him posing in front of a bathroom mirror in a pair of white briefs, while another - sent eight days later - show him gazing at the camera whilst lying on his bed.

One message wrote: "can I have 1 more of ur t**s please. (sic)"

Another read: "No its not big. Ur make me laugh. X (sic)"

Cheryl, 26, is distraught over the news, and "looked miserable" yesterday (14.02.10) as she avoided spending Valentine's Day with her husband and instead spent the day rehearsing for her BRITs performance tomorrow night (16.02.10).
