Eva Mendes is happy to be naked on screen.

The 'Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans' star is not prudish about uncovering her sexy curves in front of the cameras as long as the part requires it.

She said in an interview with the July edition of W magazine: "I've never had a problem with nudity, but I don't put it out there without a reason. I'm not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I'll do anything almost. I'll go there."

Although she is comfortable with nudity, the 36-year-old actress recognises her willingness to embrace her sexuality can influence the types of roles she is offered.

She said: "I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being a sex symbol.

Eva Mendes "loves" therapy.

The 'Bad Lieutenant' actress - who spent time in rehab in 2008 for an undisclosed condition - thinks it is important for her to always find them time to discuss her problems with a professional, and will even arrange telephone appointments if she can't make a session in person because of working commitments.

She said: "I love therapy. There is nothing like going into a room and sitting down and talking to someone who has no emotional investment in your life. Having that person who is only committed to helping you be better, I just love it.

"I go once a week and, if not, then every two weeks. And if I'm away I phone in. It's so necessary, especially in my business."

Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui has topped an annual poll of the world's 99 most desirable women, with organizers saying her appeal was boosted by the fact that she does not feature heavily in celebrity magazines.

The 32-year-old actress, best known for the TV series "Entourage," was on Tuesday named by men's website AskMen.com as the woman with the qualities most men would want in a girlfriend or wife, taking the title from last year's winner Eva Mendes.

Previous winners of the annual list of the world's "Top 99 Most Desirable Women," now in its 10th year, include Katherine Heigl, Beyonce, Jessica Alba and Adriana Lima.

"Hearing what the vote is made of is the biggest compliment of all because it's about being a well-rounded woman. That's really empowering and is just a massive compliment to me," Chriqui said in a statement after coming 12th last year.

In second place in the 2010 poll, which involved about 8 million votes, was American model Marisa Miller and in the third slot was British actress Kate Beckinsale.

AskMen.com's editor-in-chief James Bassil said Chriqui's role in "Entourage" as a sweet, ideal girlfriend had helped her in the survey -- but so had the fact that she is not over exposed.

"We don't see a lot of her. She is not a very public person so it leaves some room to the imagination. She is not out there making a spectacle of herself which could sully her image," he told Reuters.

"A lot of the behavior we see in the media is not the kind of behavior that you want to see in a girlfriend or wife. You can get over-saturation and we don't want to see their real and sometimes stained and depressed sides of their lives."

Chriqui has appeared in a list of films including "Don't Mess With The Zohan," and TV series "The O.C." and "Entourage."

Celebrities like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears who appear regularly in the media did not feature at all in the 2010 list. Spears reappeared on the list in 2009 after a few years' absence but was out of favor again in 2010.

"It has to do with a lack of mystery and enigma," said Bassil.

He said it was interesting to note that Megan Fox has fallen from second place to No. 11 in 2010 after a year of heavy publicity for the American actress.

"She has become very much the type we see everywhere, getting a lot of publicity but with not a lot of success driving this. Sure, she's had massive roles in massive movies but they are few and far between compared to many others," he said.

Newcomers to the list for 2010 included Italian model/actress Elisabetta Canalis, 31, debuted at No. 43, which Bassil put down to the fact that she is dating Hollywood idol George Clooney.

He said it was interesting that French actress Marion Cotillard came in at No. 54 as the movie "Nine" has not been that successful in North America.

The list by AskMen.com, a unit of News Corp's Fox Interactive Media, had the perennial favorites like Jessica Alba at No.5 followed by Beyonce in sixth place and Angelina Jolie at No. 88.

"All the top women we see in this list are pretty well behaved and respectable women. We don't see a lot of them parading around in public unless it is in the framework of their careers," said Bassil.

Following is a list of the top 20 women in the list of 99 with their position in last year's poll in brackets where relevant:

1. Emmanuelle Chriqui(12)

Movie Review: Bad Lieutenant a Wildly Entertaining Dark Comedy

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans stars Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes - Overall Great - 4 out of 5 beams.  It’s a good thing that a bad title and bad blood don’t trump brilliant execution of a perfect set-up, ‘cause otherwise Bad Lt. NO wouldn’t be such a wildly entertaining time at the movies. But it is. Oh man is it ever.

Dark comedy gets no more grim nor rarely as LOL funny as here. Think of this intense genre picture as Drugstore Cowboy with a badge – informed by a demented Dirty Harry ethos. Feeling lucky? Oh yeah.
Legendary director Werner Herzog uses Nic Cage’s trademark brittle edginess to great effect as an obsessively self-medicating detective. Rarely do superstars find vehicles this in tune with their acting peccadilloes, complete with wild-man director and off-the-hook script. Cage does here and the result is one of the best and most enjoyable performances of his long career.
About the bad blood: Nominally a remake of 1992’s Bad Lieutenant starring Harvey Keitel, this unauthorized edition has provoked outrage from Abel Ferrara, director of the original.
Be sure to hide the ladies and children from this crude movie. Bad Lt. NO ain’t called Bad for no reason.

Eva Mendes is planning to pen a love letter to the British Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet. Mendes, an actress, says she has never met the great Winslet, but thinks that she is in a class all of her own.

She said: "She never allows herself to get pigeonholed and she's always stretching herself. She's done nudity in so many of her films, yet she's not known for that – she's known for her work. She goes there as an actress and really, to me, she's untouchable."

Winslet this year received an Academy Award for best actress and a Golden Globe. She has lately dazzled in such dramatic on-screen fare as Revolutionary Road and The Reader.
Said Mendes: "I've actually never met her and I'm thinking, 'Maybe it's time to write her a little love letter. She can do no wrong in my eyes."

Eva Mendes uses her sexuality to get work.

The ‘Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans' actress - who posed nude for a Calvin Klein perfume advertisement campaign - is happy to bare all for a film role and doesn't mind being hired for her looks.

She said: "I don't allow myself to be typecast, but when I have to turn up the heat and turn up the sexuality and I do an amazing Calvin Klein campaign it's very conscious, that's no accident. It's very methodical on my part.

"If I feel it's appropriate to show some nudity in the scenes then I go for it. As much as I use my sexuality, I have never felt exploited. I feel like it's on my terms and I have no problem with it."

The 35-year-old actress insists she wants to continue challenging herself with her work, revealing she still goes to school to boost her acting skills.

Anne Heche, whose career over the last few years has been largely TV-based, is heading back onto the big screen with roles in two big upcoming comedies: Cedar Rapids, with The Hangover's Ed Helms, and The Other Guys, with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.

In Cedar Rapids, Helms is a small-town insurance salesman headed to a company convention to try to save his colleagues' careers, and Heche plays the female lead, a fellow agent who befriends him when his trip goes wrong. In The Other Guys, she'll play the company head who hires Ferrell and Wahlberg's cops to examine losses in her company. We're guessing they're well out of their depth there.

Adam McKay is directing The Other Guys, which also stars Eva Mendes, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton and Dwayne Johnson. Cedar Rapids is directed by Miguel Arteta and also features John C. Reilly.

Paris Hilton Scores Big Film Gig

She’s not especially known for her acting prowess, but Paris Hilton has landed a new acting job alongside some pretty big names.

The “Simple Life” babe spent a day last week filming her scenes for her new gig “The Other Guys” in New York City with costars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L Jackson and Eva Mendes.

And it sounds like Miss Hilton was a bit of a prima donna when it came to her specific demands, especially given that she only has a bit part in the movie.

An inside source told press, “Paris has a cameo role in the movie, where she plays herself. It is all being kept very hush-hush. But the producers were shocked when her team handed them a three-page list of demands — including live lobsters to be prepared fresh when she’s ready to eat and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka — all for just one day on the set. All celebrities are typically offered riders, but it seemed excessive for just one day’s work playing herself.”
