The pair are rumored to be tying the knot in a lavish ceremony in California in the next few weeks, and Emily and a group of her friends, including actress Amy Adams, celebrated the end of her single days yesterday.

The women arrived at Los Angeles’ Trousdale Lounge at around 9pm, taking a large table in the club’s VIP room. They wasted no time ordering dozens of cocktails and spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor.
“They sipped cocktails and then danced the night away,” an onlooker told People magazine.
Amy, who gave birth to her first child, daughter Aviana, with fiancé Darren Le Gallo last month, left before midnight, but the rest of the group lingered until the early hours of the morning.

Emily Blunt's Stutter Struggle

Emily Blunt says speaking in a different accent helped cure her stutter.

The 'Devil Wears Prada' actress developed a speech impediment when she was just 10 and only overcame it after a teacher at her school made her the lead in a play and told her to speak differently.

The British beauty said: "I did it in a Northern English accent, which is very different from how I speak, although it was probably a terrible Northern English accent since I was so young at the time. But it was somehow liberating. I wouldn't say that I ceased to stutter after that, that it was some huge revelation. But for the first time in five years I was able to speak fluently - and in front of 200 people."

Emily says the stutter had a huge impact on her life and stopped her from being who she wanted to be.

The first trailer for the Matt Damon/Emily Blunt sci-fi thriller The Adjustment Bureau has gone online according to plan over at Yahoo.

Adapted from Philip K Dick’s short story The Adjustment Team (albeit very loosely, since a direct version would be more like an episode of The Twilight Zone), the plot finds Damon as ambitious political type David Norris, who seems destined for greatness and the US senate.

But then he meets ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Blunt), and, as you might expect, falls for her. Soon, however, he’s up against the mysterious agents of fate known as the Adjustment Bureau – fedora-topped types who claim to move the chess pieces of the world around to a pre-assigned plan. And David’s relationship with Elise is interrupting their carefully designed scheme…

Cue a tough decision – does David let her go and see both their futures secured, or does he try to hang on to his love and risk their lives.

The trailer pitches a brainy, intriguing idea blended with lots of running and both Terrence Stamp and Mad Men’s John Slattery looking coolly menacing in sharp suits. We’re sold. But see what you think.

If the men behind the Bureau have their way, the film will arrive on September 17.

Emily Blunt wants to use the cello to escape the pressures of fame.

The British actress - who won numerous awards for her role in last year's period drama 'The Young Victoria' - wants to reignite her passion for the musical instrument to help her learn to relax and switch off from work.

She told Stylist magazine: "I want to learn to play the cello again. I played for ten years and used to be really good but then I discovered a social life and gave it up. It's so sad and I'm angry with myself because, when I pick it up now, I'm rubbish. This time I'm going to get a teacher and just do it."

Emily Blunt used to have a stutter.

The 'Young Victoria' actress suffered from the speech impediment while growing up and admits she used to be reluctant to speak as a teenager.

She said in an interview with New York Times magazine: "Because I couldn't talk very much, I watched the world go by more closely."

Rather than let her stutter get the better of her, Emily improved her speech by listening to the different accents of the people in her acting class.

She said: "I've always been fascinated by accents, and the way people speak, and the intonations of it, and that was because I found it so hard to speak in my own voice."

Emily, 26, doesn't shy away from self-improvement. She went to "dance boot camp" for her role as a ballerina in new movie 'The Adjustment Bureau', in which she stars alongside Matt Damon.

She recently said: "I'm going to dance boot camp. I'll never be at the same standard as a professional, but hopefully I'll be able to do a little bit.

"I didn't do ballet when I was a child. I gave it up in some sort of bratty rage, claiming it hurt my feet."
