Elizabeth Hurley says her house is like a "heartbreak hotel" because all her friends come to her for relationship advice.  The model-and-actress has been happily married to businessman Arun Nayar since 2007 and the pair live on a farm in Gloucestershire, England, with Elizabeth’s eight-year-old son Damian.

The beauty has found such stability in her life that her pals often rely on her to sort out their personal problems. Elizabeth never passes judgement on people and usually invites her unhappy friends to stay with her until their woes have subsided.
“I've had a few times in my life when my friends and family have rallied around me – when you've been there yourself, you'll do anything to ease someone else's pain,” she explained in an interview with ES magazine. “Although I have no plans to open up my farm as a rehab clinic, I do know a lot of people who have been through hellish marriages and I love to have friends and family stay and I love my house to be full. It's true that occasionally it resembles Heartbreak Hotel but I'm a natural agony aunt. No matter how blue people may be, we always end up cackling with laughter.”
The 45-year-old star has been busy raising her son and working on her organic farm for the past few years. Now she is ready to return to acting and will also be involved in more modeling campaigns. Elizabeth says she is looking forward to returning to the public spotlight after her time away.
“For a year I have been longing to go back to my real business. I'm in negotiations now for a really fun movie which shoots in the autumn,” she revealed. “I'm totally excited and Damian is beside himself, too. I don't regret putting him first, taking eight years off from show business. I've pretty much eaten every meal with him and done every school run. Now it feels right to spread my wings again.
“Shooting adverts feels like a holiday after working like a dog all year on the beach and snack businesses. I'm about to shoot a campaign for the Taj Hotel group in India and have just signed up with Estée Lauder again for the 16th year.”

Robbie Williams has become a Goodwill Ambassador for a children's charity.

The pop star has signed up to represent Caudwell Children to mark their 10th anniversary along with Rod Stewart, Elizabeth Hurley and Joan Collins.

Caudwell Children was founded by entrepreneur-turned-philanthropist John Caudwell to provide life-changing equipment, treatment and therapy to sick and disabled children living in the UK.

Commenting on his role, Robbie said: "I have known and admired John Caudwell for a long time, he's a top man. I hugely respect his enthusiasm and commitment to the charity, Caudwell Children, and it is my pleasure to become a Goodwill Ambassador."

Since being founded in 2000, the organisation - which was originally established to help children living in Robbie's hometown of Stoke-on-Trent - has donated over £11 million to needy youngsters across Britain and the charity hopes the 'Angels' singer's involvement will help them raise even more funds.

Elizabeth Hurley claims women like her because she's had her heart broken.

The actress-and-model - who is now married to businessman Arun Nayar - believes she has a lot of female fans because they feel sympathetic after hearing about her previous relationship woes.

Elizabeth - whose previous partners include Hugh Grant who was caught with a prostitute when they were together, and Steve Bing who called for a paternity test for their son Damien - said: "Most well known women, if they are glamour pusses, have a male audience. I've always had a much, much bigger female fan base than male. It probably seems like I've had so many knocks, as well as good luck, that it means women are friendly to me."

The 44-year-old British star - who now runs a 400-acre farm in the UK with her husband and has brought out a range of health snacks - also admits she is often difficult to work with because she thrives best under pressure.

Sir Elton John, 62, was released from a London hospital after treatment for an e.coli infection. Sir Elton was hospitalized at a private facility with influenza and a serious bacterial infection last weekend.

His civil spouse, David Furnish, had said Sir Elton was fine and would be released within two to three days. But no reports to update his condition were made available through the week.
His spokesman, Gary Farrow, said Sir Elton was at home on Friday and was feeling fine. Farrow said Sir Elton was discharged from the hospital early on Thursday. Sir Elton, who canceled some UK performance dates and postponed others in North America, would be resuming his suspended tour, starting with a gig with Billy Joel in Oakland near San Francisco on November 14.

Friend Elizabeth Hurley (pictured) early this week said: "He's great, I spoke to David Furnish, his partner, and he's doing great. I think he’ll be out of hospital in a few days."
Hurley regards Sir Elton as one of her best friends. The superstar gave her away at her wedding to businessman Arun Nayar in 2007. But she said of learning of his illness: "I've been worried sick, but he’s absolutely fine, he’s as strong as an ox and fighting everything off."

Always the belle of whatever ball she happens upon, Elizabeth Hurley was spotted glamming up the annual Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party last night (April 29).

The “Bedazzled” actress was joined by her husband of 2 years, Arun Nayar, as she arrived at the swanky Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City to schmooze with fellow attendees.

Ms. Hurley gave the paparazzi plenty of eye candy in her figure-hugging shimmery pink dress with a slit all the way up to her thigh.

Of her passion for the cause, Liz told press, “My grandmother had breast cancer, as have a number of my friends. Now, more than ever, it is important to get the message out. Survival rates are rising, and each year we get closer to a cure. If breast cancer is detected early, it is 98 per cent curable.”
