Cheryl Cole has collapsed at a photoshoot, forcing her to pull out of The X Factor for the foreseeable future. The Girls Aloud singer split from her husband Ashley Cole earlier this year following claims he had been unfaithful. She is in the process of getting divorced, but has hardly stopped working since becoming single.

The 27-year-old was posing for pictures in a North London studio on Saturday when she collapsed, with a doctor immediately called. She was diagnosed with severe exhaustion and told to rest. The star had reportedly had a high temperature and felt sick when she arrived, but had assured her team she was well enough to take part.
Minutes after starting work, Cheryl fainted. She was later found to have a gastroenteritis bug. “She should never have gone to the studio. She insisted she was fine, even though she clearly wasn't,” a friend of the star told British newspaper The Sun. “Her skin was pale and her lips had no color. She's rundown and tired. That's why she ended up with the stomach virus.
“She told the photographer she'd be all right if she got her make-up on. But once she was under the lights it was clear she wasn't well. Eventually she just keeled over. It was horrible. She was only out for a few seconds but it was enough to give everyone, including Cheryl, a massive scare.”
Cheryl’s management have told bosses on talent show The X Factor, including Cheryl’s fellow judge Simon Cowell, she will need time off to recuperate. The program is currently filming the audition round, with a number of big-name stars standing in for judge Dannii Minogue, who is too heavily pregnant to take part. Music manager Louis Walsh also sits on the panel.
It has been claimed Cheryl has been working 18-hour days since splitting from Ashley. As well as shooting The X Factor, she has toured with the Black Eyed Peas, been working on her solo album and starring in photoshoots. She is believed to have lost 7lbs since they parted ways, with her mother Joan Callaghan reportedly asking her to relax her strict diet in recent weeks.

Reports claimed he was given celebrity treatment and whisked to the front of the line at a Los Angeles Apple store that was selling the iPhone.
It was day one of the release of the cell phone and there were long lines.  A store employee reportedly saw the actor is line and escorted him into the store in front of everyone else.

Boos erupted, according to witnesses that talked to Us Magazine and he was ripped online by fans and celebrity bloggers.
He is now using a bit of social networking to try to quiet the critics.
He posted: "If some were mad, I didn't see them. I wish I had. If you're out there, I'm sorry." "It was so much drama! It was the most surreal experience. People were so pissed because that line was ridiculous."

Katy's new crush - Katy Perry revealed that she has had a crush on Cole since joining the Girls Aloud singer and the rest of the X Factor judges at the show's auditions in Dublin.
She later wrote on her Twitter page: "I wish Cheryl Cole tweeted, she was a sweeeeetie pateeetie [sic] today. (Girl crush alert.)"

Before the auditions, Perry told how she was looking forward to meeting Cole for the first time – saying she loved her dimples.
Perry was standing in for pregnant judge Dannii Minogue – and appeared to be the first guest-judge not to get booed after Geri Halliwell and Natalie Imbruglia both faced taunts from the audience.

Former Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell was booed by the audience as she made her debut as a guest judge on the hit British reality show X Factor. The singer was filling in for regular judge Dannii Minogue, who is currently in her native Australia while heavily pregnant with her first child.

And as Geri proved herself less than popular with the crowds, many fans were heard chanting for the return of Dannii on the judges panel.
Geri was later accused of being ‘awful’ and her comments 'not making sense' by fans who angrily took to internet forums to vent their feelings about the 37-year-old star.

The singer is reported to have angered fans by going against the crowd and refusing to put through a singer called Katie when she had the casting vote.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Geri had the chance to please the crowd and many were shouting Katie's name. But Geri ignored them and turned Katie down, causing the crowd to go crazy."
Things quickly went from bad to worse as Geri allegedly later stormed off stage. Geri is the first in a line of guest judges invited to stand in for Dannii. Other stars who will join the panel include Katy Perry, Pixie Lott and Natalie Imbruglia.

Cheryl Cole was named Woman of the Year last night (08.06.10).

The 26-year-old singer was handed the prestigious prize at the Glamour Awards which were held in London's Berkeley Square.

Upon collecting the accolade, Cheryl - who is currently divorcing cheating husband Ashley Cole - said: "Four or five years ago I'd never dreamt I'd be here amongst so many women. One person I definitely have to thank is my dentist. So thank you very much."

Other winners at the annual ceremony hosted by the women's magazine

included Dannii Minogue who was presented with the TV Personality of the Year award, Lily Allen who received the Solo Artist of the Year accolade and Billie Piper who was named UK TV Actress of the Year.

Earlier in the evening, Cheryl admitted it felt strange attending the ceremony - which was hosted by British comic star James Corden - alone.

She told UK television show 'GMTV': "I'm feeling really good, I'm really excited actually. I've never been to one of these things alone - last time I was here was years ago with the girls, so it's really exciting."

Celebrity baby watch - Amy Adams has a new baby girl!  Mom and baby are fine, and Samantha Lawton reports the 35-year-old star and her fiancé Darren Le Gallo, who was by her side during the delivery, are said to be thrilled with the birth of their first child.

The judge on the hit TV show stood up to applaud two acts and as she leant forward the large bump was clearly visible thanks to her tight-fitting designer white dress.

Minogue, who also sported a new plaited hairstyle for the show, is due to give birth in mid-July. Just before the latest episode was broadcast in Australia she also took to her Twitter webpage to say how pleased she was that her boyfriend, Kris Smith, had returned from his latest modeling assignment.
Tweeting from her home in Melbourne, where she will give birth at a private hospital, she wrote: “My man just arrived back from filming in Brisbane – I’m a happy girl now."

Does Victoria Beckham want a baby girl?  The wife of US soccer star and European footballer David Beckham has three sons, but reports claim Becks wants another and he is hoping for a girl while Victoria may not be in the mood for another pregnancy.  Is it a Mother's Day wish or a showdown?  Showbiz Spy reports that The former Spice Girl is "apparently keen to put her fashion career ahead of adding to her brood while the sexy sportsman is eager to have a little girl."
Fashion and Posh...Victoria has been voted as the world's most-glamorous celebrity in a new poll. The fashion designer beat off competition from Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley.
Three thousand women were polled in a new survey by Max Factor. Aussie judge Dannii Minogue, 38, came in second place. Jolie, 34, took third place, with Knightley, 26, coming sixth. Other stars in the top 10 include Myleene Klass, Michelle Obama, Kim Cattrall, Cameron Diaz, Megan Fox and Leona Lewis.

A spokesman for Max Factor said: "Victoria Beckham has been gracing the fashion pages for years now. She never leaves home without being fully made-up, and her signature glossy pout has become her calling card.
"Her simple tailored clothes, along with her love of heels and elegant make-up, have made her a fashion icon and queen of glamour. "But it seems that she might have a contender for the crown, as Dannii Minogue has become more popular after showcasing a wide range of glamorous looks on The X-Factor."

The tale of a bizarre Lady Gaga amputation is dissected by E! Online.  Bottom line, Lady Gaga still has two good legs (and both feet) to stand on and Gaga's record-label rep confirmed that (presumably after a good laugh) answering: "It's not true," in an e-mail response.

More Gaga rumors and reports...The Telephone star will reportedly return to The X-Factor later this year as a guest judge. The 23-year-old singer will be one of a host of guest judges brought in to replace Dannii Minogue, 38, at the auditions stage later this year as Dannii will be in Australia giving birth to her first child.

A source said to UK newspaper The People: "It's now a case of dotting the Is and crossing the Ts. Simon Cowell and everyone involved knows just how much of a ratings draw Lady Gaga will be."
The singer appeared on last year's X-Factor show, where she performed her single Bad Romance. It is hoped that Dannii's sister Kylie, 41, might be one of the guest judge.

Dannii Minogue is "too busy" to get married.

The Australian star - who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith - thinks the former rugby star will be the "perfect husband" but wants to focus on motherhood before walking down the aisle.

Dannii - who was previously married to actor Julian McMahon - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He'll be the perfect husband. We have talked about it, but this year is just hectic, it's crazy. So there's nothing planned.

"I never thought this would happen to me, it's going to be such a big shock and a change.

"You think you're going have it all under control, but your world goes upside down - in a good way.

"I'll just be concentrating on being a mum. That's what I'll be focusing on."

Pregnant X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue (pictured) has revealed she wants more children after the birth of her baby this summer. The 38-year-old is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith, 31, in July this year and said it won't be her last.

She said to Australia's WHO magazine: "I thought it was absolutely going to freak me out, the whole body change and hormonal change. But I am loving it." Minogue, who is one of the four judges in UK's The X-Factor, also came top in the magazine's recent 25 Most Beautiful People list. She admitted that she is loving pregnancy and thinks she could get 'addicted' to it.

More possible celebrity baby news...Longtime bachelor Simon Cowell will take to fatherhood like a duck to water, according to one of his co-judges. Britain's Got Talent's Amanda Holden believes the betrothed Cowell, 50, is a ''natural'' father.
Contact Music reports that Holden told New! magazine: "I've said to him that I hate it when he says he doesn't like kids because when he is around children, he is great. "Piers [Morgan] and I are parents, but Simon seems the most natural one. I'd love to see him with kids. I'd be gobsmacked, but so thrilled."

Cowell is engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy, 36, a make-up artist from American Idol. The pair are said to be planning a September 11 wedding with a Salvador Dali theme. Holden told another magazine: "I'd love him to have children, but do we need any more Simons in this world? I mean, really?
"He's been acting teenagery and happy and light. They [Cowell and Hussainy] are like Tweedledee and Tweedledum. You can't separate them really."
