Courtney Love (pictured) has claimed she had an affair with model Kate Moss in Milan in the mid-nineties. In a magazine interview the rocker declared: "It was Kate Moss. She doesn't care."

"It's a great story for the grandchildren, so yeah. Kate wasn't doing a lot of drugs. It was just a thing that happened,” the Hole front woman said.

“It happened and it was fun and whatever. And she talks about it and so I hope she doesn't get mad that I outed her about it.”
Love says of her current relationship with the supermodel: “I feel like such a kiss and tell. Kate's great though! Kate's a good friend of mine.”
Moss is now reportedly engaged to The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince.

Courtney is believed to have not taken the end of the relationship well, saying to one pal: "I've been dumped. I feel so depressed."

Gemma Arterton always wanted to be a rock star.

The 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' actress dreamed of taking to the stage when she was younger but now accepts the closest she will ever get to achieving her ambition is to portray a musician on the big screen.

She told NME.com: "Music is my biggest passion aside from anything else. I was in lots of dodgy bands growing up and I always fancied myself in a band.

"But, you know, I was rubbish at writing music. So maybe one day I'll play a rock star, or a punk rocker."

However, the British star isn't interested in landing a role in the forthcoming biopic of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, and believes unknown stars should be cast as the tragic rocker and his widow Courtney Love.

Courtney Love "hit the roof" when her rumoured boyfriend Andre Balazs began talking to another woman last week.

The Hole singer flew into a rage and burst into tears when the hotelier - who previously dated Uma Thurman - began chatting to a business associate as they left the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel in New York last week.

A source inside the club told the New York Daily News newspaper: "They came to the Boom Boom Room together late Thursday night (13.05.10) and initially went their separate ways. At first, Courtney was chatting with a couple of guys about her music.

"But eventually, she and Andre snuck out to the smoking deck together and were hugging and being touchy. They both seemed very genuine.

Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain's teenage diaries are going on display in London.

Angst-ridden notes written by the Hole singer and her late rocker husband will be viewed by the general public from next week at Ctrl.Atl.Shift's Dear Diary exhibition at Gallery Seven, when celebrities will join up with members of the public to reveal what their worries were when they were younger.

An extract from Courtney's diary - which was apparently written when she was in her early teens - shows her battles with acceptance and discipline when she was a youngster.

It reads: "(Whore paint, war paint) Well tonite I got the crap meeting and told my life story and told about everything about how afraid I am of not being accepted (God! I cant spell any more) etc etc. and we have kitchen duty 5 hours a day so I dont go to school and I course I b***hed about it, stating to Cottage Supervisor that under ORS. 169.83 (4?) it was truancy if under 15 you didnt attend school. He laughed and told me to call my lawyer and now he calls me his 'Legal Beagle' S**T! (sic)"

Courtney Love thinks she is good in bed because she is ugly.

The Hole singer - who was previously married to late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and has dated stars including Smashing Pumpkins rocker Billy Corgan and The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas - claims she had to try harder to impress men because she couldn't wow them with good looks.

She told US TV show 'On The Record': "I'm better because I was never pretty. Pretty girls just lie there. Us girls who grew up a little more homely have to try a lot harder. That's why pretty girls never threaten me - it's like, yeah, you want to take me on? Take me on. Go for it."

Last week, Courtney claimed she had bedded Gwen Stefani's husband Gavin Rossdale but has now insisted he was not married when their romance took place - though she does admit to having an affair with another betrothed man.

Courtney Love claims she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale.

The Hole singer - famed for her erratic behaviour - insists she bedded the former Bush frontman for eight months after he married Gwen Stefani in 2002.

Courtney - the widow of Nirvana star Kurt Cobain - told US Radio DJ Howard Stern: "We had a really good time. I even had visions of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time.

"Everyone gave me so much s**t because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt. But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."

Courtney claims Gwen - who has two sons, Kingston, four, and 19-month-old Zuma, with Gavin - was aware of the affair.

Courtney Love wants to sell off the rights to Kurt Cobain's music - so she can move on.

The Hole singer doesn't want to be known as "the widow" of the late Nirvana rocker any longer and thinks the money she has received from his work has been "cursed".

She told The Scotsman: "I'm thinking about selling off all of Kurt's publishing. All of the rights, everything. It's not a financial decision; it's an emotional one. He was the best friend I've ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I'm always 'the widow' and that drives me nuts. That money has been cursed since the day it started to come in."

Courtney - who has a 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean from her relationship with Kurt - believes it is time she finally lived a life free of the 'Come As You Are' singer and his tainted cash.

Hole Launches U.S. Tour On Respectable Note

It wasn't quite a triumphant return but a respectable comeback.

Courtney Love and the reconstituted Hole launched their U.S. tour Thursday in support of new album "Nobody's Daughter." After all the gossip-column headlines, paparazzi photos, detours into Hollywood and detox, it was good to see Love back where she belongs: onstage.

Love has never been an amazing vocalist or musician, but she is a great rock star, loaded with charisma and swagger, and that was on full display during Hole's nearly hourlong set on the first of two sold-out nights at the Music Box at the Fonda in Hollywood. She's also unpredictable and ballsy.

Not many artists would have the chutzpah to kick off a show with the Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil," a song that's so closely associated with Jagger and Richards that few have the stones to cover it and even fewer can pull it off.

But Love and company did just that, albeit an abbreviated version, before launching into the band's new single "Skinny Little Bitch," which has everything you'd want from a Hole song: a killer hook and plenty of raw sexual attitude.

Some naysayers might argue that it's not appropriate for Love to revive the Hole banner without any of her former bandmates in tow. But if Billy Corgan and John Lydon can do it with Smashing Pumpkins and Public Image Ltd., respectively, why can't Courtney? She, like Corgan and Lydon, always has been the driving force, face and voice of her band.

The new lineup, featuring guitarist Micko Larkin, certainly was capable of providing the sort of loose and raucous accompaniment that suits Love well, but there wasn't a whole lot of interaction between the players. That might be because the hired hands realize that Love is clearly the star, and she played that role to the hilt, striking arms-wide-open Jesus Christ poses and teasing the faithful with numerous sexual innuendoes.

To the delight of the adoring faithful, Love and the band steam-rolled through Hole favorites like "Violet" and "Malibu." But the most interesting numbers of the night, including "Someone Else's Bed" and "Pacific Coast Highway" from the new album, had Love showing more restraint and were shockingly tasteful and melodic, sort of like classic Fleetwood Mac reinterpreted by a garage band.

Love wrapped up the regular set with another brief shot of the Stones' "Sympathy" before encoring with Hole's "Doll Parts." She again dug into the Stones catalog for a scorching take on "Play With Fire" and closed with an emotional acoustic reading of her band's "Northern Star."

Taken together, the latter two songs brought to mind Marianne Faithfull, another controversial female rock figure initially known more for her association with male rock gods than for her own talents. Only Love knows for sure if she was intentionally conjuring up visions of Faithfull. Or maybe that's just Courtney's way auditioning for her biopic.
