Britney Spears has split from her boyfriend Jason Trawick.

The '3' singer reportedly ended her romance with the talent agent at the end of February following a year-long romance because they had been arguing constantly.

A source said: "They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along. They both just needed to take a break from each other. It wasn't working out."

Despite their split, Jason, 38, will still represent Britney through the New York-based entertainment agency, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, where he works.

The Girls Aloud star, who recently split from her soccer player husband Ashley Cole amid allegations of cheating, is planning a move to Los Angeles on the advice on her high-profile pals.

American choreographer Brian Friedman - who has worked with Britney Spears and Pink - is among those urging the 'Parachute' singer to consider uprooting from the UK.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Brian is trying to persuade her to give it a shot in Los Angeles.

"He told her he's happy to be her chaperone until she settles. High-level people already love her there."

Britney Spears has reportedly spent $700,000 renovating her home.

The '3' singer spent the huge amount on various projects on her lavish Californian property, including on decorating, new furniture and electronic equipment.

A source said: "Britney remodelled her entire home. She loves spending money."

According to the insider, as well as a reported $200,000 spent on artwork, Britney splashed out $150,000 on electronics, purchased a new $100,000 bathroom, paid $100,000 for Venetian plaster walls and bought $150,000 of new furniture.

Meanwhile, Britney's lawyers have moved to make sure confidential information about the pop star and her children, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, are legally sealed amid fears her private medical information could be leaked.

Lawyers Geraldine Wyle and Jeryll Cohen said in legal documentation: "A Google search for Ms. Spears' name yields 54,300,000 hits.

"Photographs and personal information, particular information of a highly confidential nature (such as personal medical information of Ms. Spears and her children), can potentially reap thousands if not millions of dollars.

A Florida dance teacher who taught pop star Britney Spears before she became famous has been arrested for allegedly having sex with an underage student.

Dawhone Perry, who runs the popular New Dimensions Dance Academy, has been charged with rape but was released from police custody on bond, WFTV, Orlando, Fla., reported Tuesday.

A former student has accused Perry of having sex with her between 800 and 900 times during a three-year relationship that allegedly started in 2005 when she was 15, WFTV said.

Perry's arrest reportedly came after Brevard County sheriff's investigators recorded a conversation between Perry and his alleged victim during which Perry allegedly admitted he was "sorry for what he did."

Jamie Lynn Spears Split From Casey Aldridge - U.S. actress Jamie Lynn Spears has broken up with her longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge, UsMagazine.com said Friday.

Madonna and Britney Spears' smooch at the MTV Video Music Awards has been voted Top Kiss in a new poll.

The on stage kiss during a performance of Madonna's track 'Like A Virgin' in 2003 was voted the most famous smooch of the last decade, according to the poll conducted by UK department store Selfridges.

The performance - which also saw Madonna kiss Christina Aguilera - made headlines across the world and is one of the most shocking moments in the history of the music channel's annual awards.

A source said: "Madonna performing with both Britney and Christina was a big enough event in itself, but nobody - even the MTV people - expected what happened. It is one of the most memorable moments ever."

Same sex kisses scored highly in the with Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's famous gay kiss in 2005 film 'Brokeback Mountain' being voted third.

Britney Spears takes regular vacations at a hotel close to her home.

The '3' singer has amazed staff at Los Angeles' Mondrian Hotel by checking in with sons Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James - her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline - for a few days every month, even though the building is just a few minutes away from her house.

A source at the hotel told The Sun newspaper: "She's no reason to be here. Last time she had staff running around after her kids as they had both caught flu and she had no medicine for them.

"She uses the gym, is waited on and she uses the babysitting service."

Britney - who is rumoured to have split from her boyfriend of 10 months, Jason Trawick - recently told how she has recently learned to relax more and is feeling much less stressed since her much-publicised breakdown in 2007.

Britney Spears has started speaking in a British accent.

The 28-year-old singer has become obsessed with animated US TV show 'Family Guy' and has reportedly been wandering around Los Angeles' Mondrian Hotel mimicking the voice of troublesome baby Stewie, whose English accent is voiced by show creator Seth MacFarlane.

A source said: "Britney has developed a real fascination for 'Family Guy'. She's been staying in the hotel's penthouse suite and has been watching box sets."

Britney has been addressing hotel staff in the voice much to their amusement.

The source to The Sun newspaper: "She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent. It's a bit weird, especially when she's in the gym speaking like a camp Brit."

This is not the first time Britney has spoken in a British accent.

The pop star apparently adopted English pronunciation during her stay at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles when she arrived there in January 2008 for treatment.

She was also videoed numerous times trading her Louisiana twang for UK inflections.
