Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s toddler son Bronx was involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday.  The tot was reportedly being driven by a nanny near the singers’ home when the incident occurred. No one was injured in the accident.

The black Lexus they were traveling in sustained minor damage to the driver’s side. Pete Wentz “was looking visibly rattled” after the crash, RadarOnline reports.

However, RadarOnline reports a source saying: "Jeremy has actually been dating a New York-based blonde, who isn't Jessica, on and off for the past few months.
“She asked Jeremy when the story about him and Jessica came out and he said they were just friends and that it was just for publicity."

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's son was in a car accident yesterday (18.05.10).

Bronx was in the vehicle with his nanny when the incident took place in Los Angeles' Coldwater Canyon, but was luckily not injured.

The couple's representative said: "It was a minor fender-bender, and everyone is fine."

It is still unknown what caused the accident, but the Lexus SUV the nanny was driving was left damaged on the front left side.

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson have never gone off the rails because they are part of a "real family", according to dad Joe Simpson.

The former Baptist minister, who manages both of his daughters' careers, is proud that his girls live relatively normal lives and haven't been seduced by the trappings of fame like so many other young stars.

Joe - who is still married to Jessica and Ashlee's mother Tina - said in an interview with Fox News: "We have a real family. You can't just put these kids out in the world and they're on their own. I can remember a time when Jessica was singing at Madison Square Garden and her outfit ripped before she went on. We were there for her."

Despite his reputation as a controlling dad, Joe is adamant he has never told either of his daughters who they should date.

He stated: "I don't tell my girls who to date or marry or what to do."

The Fall Out Boy rocker - who has a 16-month-old son, Bronx Mowgli, with his wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz - thinks the knife, which is usually fitted over a rifle, is much safer than just having a gun in your home.

He tweeted: "I really wish bayonets were primary weapons still. I feel like I'd be good at using one and it's practical home defence."

According to Pete, the advantages of having a bayonet at your house is that you are unlikely to kill an intruder if you use it, as opposed to firing a gun.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is selling her Hollywood home.

The 25-year-old singer-and-actress has put the $4 million villa she bought before she married rocker Pete Wentz in 2008 up for sale - because she doesn't think the five bedrooms will be enough for her expanding brood.

Ashlee - who already has a 15-month-old son Bronx Mowgli with the musician - said: "We'd love to have more kids. I love being a mother. We're together all the time."

Speaking about his desire to extend their family, Pete, 30, said: "Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have our own soccer team!"

The Mediterranean-style mansion has an open plan kitchen, an upstairs master bedroom suite with matching his-and-her closets, a fitness room and a media room leading outside to the swimming pool and spa.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is looking forward to Valentine's Day (14.02.10).

The 25-year-old singer, who is married to musician Pete Wentz, is looking forward to treating her husband on the romantic day as well as getting a surprise from him.

She said: "Every Valentine's Day is sweet. Pete's very creative, so he's always coming up with something clever and surprising me. Hopefully, I'll surprise him this year."

As well as looking forward to Valentine's Day, Ashlee also looks forward to seeing what 15-month-old son Bronx will do next.

She told America's OK! magazine: "I love being a mother. We're together all the time. Bronx is definitely finding himself, and he's getting his own personality, so hide-and-seek, and new little things. He does sign language, so that's been fun."

Simpson Comedy Show - Joe Simpson, father and manager of pop stars Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, is developing a Nickelodeon comedy series loosely based on his real-life experience as a psychologist raising two daughters in Texas.

The untitled project centers on one of the daughters who begins imitating her father and giving life advice to other kids in her school.

Emily Cutler (ABC's "Carpoolers") is writing the script, with Simpson and veteran tween and teen series producer Tommy Lynch executive producing.

Following his daughters' success, Simpson has segued into producing, shepherding Jessica and Ashlee's TV projects and, most recently, the ABC drama series "Women's Murder Club."

Lynch has a long-standing relationship with Nickelodeon, having produced such Nick series as "South of Nowhere," "Romeo!" and most recently "The Troop."

Christmas cheer - Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are shopping girlfriends and Nicole Richie is in the spirit of the season as well and reportedly wants Ashlee Simpson Wentz to star as a supporting character in her new sitcom.

It was recently revealed that the 28-year-old Nicole will be developing a sitcom for ABC, which she will star in as well as produce. Reports now claim that Richie is keen for her friend and actress Simpson-Wentz, 25, to appear alongside her.

A source told The National Enquirer: "Nicole adores Ashlee, and she truly believes in her talent. "With few other prospects on the horizon, Ashlee - who desperately wants to establish herself as an actress - was feeling down until Nicole stepped up."
Simpson-Wentz is currently playing the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago after a short stay on the second round of Melrose Place.

Economic stimulus...Disney star Selena Gomez (pictured) has said she and Demi Lovato are shopping pals and have the same wardrobes as each other. The 17-year-old admitted that Lovato, also 17, is always the one she takes shopping with her.
She told UK magazine Mizz: "Me and Demi Lovato go clothes shopping all the time. In fact, we probably have the same wardrobe as each other, as we'll get the same thing in different colors!
"I also have half her clothes in my closet from borrowing them, and vice-versa. I love shopping and she's probably my favorite shopping buddy, as she knows exactly what I like."

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz threw their son a "rad" first birthday party on Saturday (21.11.09).

Bronx Mowgli - who actually turned one on Friday (20.11.09) - was treated to a 'SpongeBob SquarePants'-themed bash at his grandparents Joe and Tina Simpson's house in Encino, California, which even included an impersonator dressed as the goofy, yellow sea sponge.

Pete thanked his friends and family on Twitter for a "rad b-day for Bronx. (sic)"

The tot was joined by 30 family and friends - including his pop star aunt Jessica Simpson - who tucked into birthday cake and played on a giant bouncy castle.

Last week, Pete revealed his plans behind opting for the cartoon theme.

He said: "Bronx likes Bob and he likes guitar - which he calls 'itar' so we're going to have a SpongeBob party for him."

Pete was not Bronx's only family member to talk about his birthday celebration on Twitter.

Ashlee wrote: "BX's 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life :) (sic)"

Sister Jessica Simpson is thrilled and Ashlee Simpson Wentz has confirmed reports she will appear in the Broadway show Chicago. The 25-year-old previously appeared on London's West End as Roxie Hart and following the end of her stint on revived show Melrose Place, she will be heading to Broadway to play Roxie once again.

Ashlee will start her run as Roxie at New York's theatre district on November 30. She said: "I'm honored to be reprising my role as Chicago's Roxie Hart, returning to the stage and joining this amazing cast. "Being on Broadway is a childhood dream come true."

Jessica Simpson said she's getting 'chillbumps' thinking about her little sister Ashlee performing on Broadway. The 29-year-old actress recently supported her little sister Ashlee, 25, when she was fired from show Melrose Place and wrote on Twitter that the show was 'cr*p'.
Ashlee has since landed the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway play Chicago after first playing the role on London's West End in 2006. Ashlee recently wrote on Twitter: "Just finished second CHICAGO rehearsal. Man I love the theater and putting my dancing shoes back on!"
Her sister Jessica later put on Twitter: "I can't wait to watch @ashsimpsonwentz on broadway in all of her glory!!! I get chillbumps from toes to noggin thinking about it!!! YAY!!!!"
