Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen have joined the cast of "Scream 4," which began shooting this week in Michigan.

The film reunites director Wes Craven with Kevin Williamson, who kicked off a horror movie revival with his "Scream" script in 1996.

Original cast members Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are also returning, though the plan is to pass the baton to a new generation of slasher victims, namely Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin and Nico Tortorella.

Brody will play a cop recently graduated from college who was raised on the "CSI" TV series.

Shelton will play a deputy who knew Campbell's character in high school. Lake Bell had been in negotiations for the role.

Knudsen will have a role similar to the one played by Jamie Kennedy in the first two installments, a character who is familiar with horror movie conventions and a provider of comic relief.

To preserve the identity of the killer, Craven and Williamson are operating under several layers of secrecy, including not sending the script to agencies. At a table read last week, the actors were told to stop reading at page 75 to prevent even those already cast in the film from knowing the climax.

Brody recently wrapped ensemble indie drama "The Oranges," which also stars Hugh Laurie and Leighton Meester. He stars with Katie Holmes, Anna Paquin and Elijah Wood in "The Romantics," a romantic comedy slated to open this fall.

Shelton was most recently seen in director Sebastian Gutierrez's ensemble comedy "Women in Trouble." Other credits include "Planet Terror" and "Sin City."

Toronto-born Knudsen appears in the August release "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," Edgar Wright's adaptation of the Bryan Lee O'Malley graphic novel series, as well as "Beastly," a CBS Films fantasy romance.

'True Blood' stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer can get carried away during their sex scenes in the vampire drama.

Stephen, 40, admits his real-life relationship with 27-year-old Anna means there are no boundaries on set.

Speaking about their chemistry on set, he joked: "I think that one great bonus is we don't need a fluffer."

A fluffer is a person who helps male performers maintain their erections in porn movies.

Bisexual Anna also admits she and the rest of the show's cast are comfortable being naked around each other on set.

True Blood star Anna Paquin shocked her fans and co-stars when she admitted back in April that she was bisexual. The actress made her announced as part of a public service announcement (PSA) called Give a Damn by the gay rights organization True Colors Fund.

Now Paquin is revealing why she chose to make her sexual orientation a very public matter. She explained: “I'm not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about - and frankly, I don't see why everyone doesn't care about them."

She went on to tell Zap2it: “So when I was asked to participate in that PSA, it was just obvious: 'Well, of course I will'."
Paquin, who is engaged to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, added that the campaign for equal rights for people of all sexual orientations is something she cared about.
She added: “It was one I care about and privately supported but not one that I had ever had an opportunity to speak out about in a way that would be useful. I just wanted to do my bit."

True Blood star Anna Paquin has hinted that her on-screen character Sookie will split with vampire Bill in a future episode. The 27-year-old actress plays the role of Sookie Stackhouse in the hit HBO show, and her real-life fiance Stephen Moyer plays Sookie's boyfriend Bill Compton.

Asked if they will stay together, she said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: "Well, no TV show keeps the main couple together throughout the whole run. That would be boring."

She added: There's got to be some conflict there, otherwise it's not so entertaining."
Despite the saucy love scenes in the hit series, Paquin added that her parents are proud of her success in the show.
She said: "They're really proud of me. Their taste in material is always about its quality, not how provocative it was. They've always been focused on the integrity of the people I was working with."

Anna Paquin's family are delighted she is marrying Stephen Moyer.

The actress' brother, Andrew Paquin - who directs the couple in new movie 'Open House' - has grown increasingly close to her 40-year-old fiance and is thrilled at the prospect of his pal becoming his brother-in-law.

Andrew said: "I absolutely approve! Steve will be an amazing husband to Anna and a great brother-in-law.

"She's in very good hands. Steve's a lovely man and a really great guy. He's become a very good friend. Everything is great and I'm really happy for them."

The 33-year-old filmmaker thinks the couple are well suited and believes their adoration for one another is clear to everyone to see.

Stephen Moyer thinks his TV bosses wanted him to date Anna Paquin.

The 'True Blood' actor - who got engaged to his co-star last August - claims staff at network HBO tried their best to bring them together by booking them into the same hotel during filming of the pilot episode.

He said: "They put us in the same hotel - though in not the same room to begin with.

"No, I'm joking. They put us in these hotel suites, and we hung out for a while and got to know each other. The attraction was there, so it was a matter of whether we acted on it or not."

Stephen Moyer has sent his dogs to boot camp.

The 'True Blood' actor and fiancee Anna Paquin were forced to take action to teach Splash and Banjo to behave properly after receiving angry messages from their neighbours.

Stephen said: "Right now, Splash is in Los Angeles in boot camp with my new dog Banjo. They don't really get on.

"Splash is a grumpy old f**ker. Banjo has been doing what all puppies do, p**sing and s**ting everywhere, eating everything that comes to his realm, including Anna's shoes.

"We had a nasty letter from a few neighbours saying, 'Please, please can you stop them from barking or we're going to have to call the police. We say this with love, but please.' "

Before embarking on an acting career, Stephen had ambitions to become a boxer and says his role in the US drama has helped him pursue the sport further.
