Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoy romantic dates in a hotel Jacuzzi. The couple and their six children are currently staying at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, California, while the actor works on his next movie 'Moneyball' and staff have treated their stay like a "military operation".

A source said: "We approached the arrival of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt -- plus their kids and entourage -- as if it was a military operation."
According to the insider, the couple regularly book the hotel's spa facilities for personal use in order to have "romantic date nights", while they are also happy to pay to have "Under repair" signs posted on the swimming pool so it can be closed for their kids to splash around in peace.
In addition, despite the couple rarely seen in the public areas of the hotel, staff were reportedly ordered to remove any magazines with them on the cover from the lobby newsstand.
The source told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: ''That pretty much cleaned out our celebrity magazines since Brad and Angie are on the cover of those magazines almost every week!''
Brad, Angelina, their family and entourage occupy a whole floor of the building, and have had "anti-paparazzi" reflective material placed on all of the windows to maintain their privacy.
In addition, the source reports that the 'Changeling' actress - who is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador - has been spending a large amount of her free time in the library at the University of California' Berkeley campus doing research for a book about the international refugee crisis.

Angelina Jolie admits her family is a "strength" and a "weakness". The 'Salt' actress - who raises six children with Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt - confesses she has a "deep" love of her brood and would "break" if anything happened to them.

She said: "My family is both my strength and my weakness. I love them deeply and if anything happened to them it would break me. I could have the worst day in the world with people saying the most horrible things about me but I go home and my kids love me and I feel like the most important person in the world."
The 35-year-old beauty also claims she loves having the opportunity to go abroad with Brad and her children as it means they get to know more about the world.
She told the Daily Telegraph: "The great gift I've been able to give my children is that we're able to live abroad financially and because of work. When we were in Italy the children were learning Italian and learning about the history of Venice and we drove to Florence and showed them the statue of David.
"When we're in France they learn the history of France and the French revolution. These countries are so different from America and it's been good for us to have those long French lunches and extended Italian dinners and go for walks together and explore."

Kyle Chandler Says Good-Bye - Say Hello Angelina Jolie Look-Alike Chloe Bridges

Kyle Chandler admits that saying goodbye to "Friday Night Lights" has been "very difficult." The actor, who finally garnered a long-deserved Emmy nomination for his portrayal of high school football coach Eric Taylor, says: "It was a rough few weeks. We went from shooting episode 12, which I directed, right into the final episode and, regardless of how enjoyable, it was a lot of work. So it wasn't until a few days later that I caught my breath and realized, 'That stage of my life is done.' I'm sad to see it go. It was the happiest five years of my life."

Of the cast and crew wrap party, he says: "I don't like saying goodbye. I don't like wrap parties for that reason. But none of that really hit me at the time. I was by myself when all the emotions and thoughts all came up at once."

Chandler certainly does have something to look forward to, however: the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Aug. 29. He's in the running for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, along with Jon Hamm, Michael C. Hall, Hugh Laurie, Bryan Cranston and Matthew Fox.

"I'm taking my two wives to the Emmys this year," says the actor with a laugh. Referring to fellow Emmy nominee Connie Britton, he goes on, "Obviously, my TV wife will be there. And my beautiful wife, Kathryn, and I will be coming to Los Angeles, seeing friends we haven't seen in a while and be two adults in the city of Hollywood, living it up while the kids are at home kicking back. Of course, my wife has to be there. The person you say goodnight to last is the one you want to say thank you to last."

As for what he will do next, Chandler says, "Our two children are about to go to the state swimming competition, and I'm going to be there and enjoy that. I'm going to enjoy my horses and I'm going to relax. Whatever happens with the Emmy, the show was a great experience."

Asked to name a standout moment for him, Chandler is quick to respond. "I think one memory I'll always take with me is the very final scene. Connie and I had to literally go outside this restaurant and do a scene in the parking lot. When they yelled 'Cut!' that was the last one. The whole crew and the other actors were all out there, and everyone was applauding."

'IT' GIRL COMING THROUGH: Coming down to the final two in an important casting -- and then not getting the role -- is a tale of actor heartbreak that countless thespians around these parts can tell first-hand. Beautiful 18-year-old Chloe Bridges (pictured) knows it well. It was down to Bridges and Demi Lovato for Mitchie, the female lead in Disney's 2008 mega-hit "Camp Rock." And Lovato ended up with the role.

"Usually, the story ends with 'I didn't get it, and it really sucks,'" she points out. "So this is very different."

Very different indeed. Bridges plays the new role of Dana, love interest of Nick Jonas, in the Sept. 3-debuting "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam." Lovato has become a good friend of hers, and everywhere Bridges goes, people are noticing that she looks an awful lot like Angelina Jolie.

"It's definitely something I've encountered a lot -- getting close to getting a part and then not getting it," continues the New Orleans native, who has been acting since age 11. "I had no idea what a phenomenon 'Camp Rock' would be when I auditioned for it, but then when it got so huge, of course, I thought, 'Oh, that was almost me!' But coming back for 'Camp Rock 2,' I really have to say, Disney wants to put you in the right part -- and Dana is really right for me."

The role called for a classically trained musician. They changed Dana from being a violinist to being a pianist in deference to Bridges' real-life ability. She's also a dancer, gymnast, swimmer, artist, tennis player...

"I was an ambitious, busy little girl," she says. "Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have a mom supportive enough to move out to Los Angeles with me when I was 13 to pursue acting."

Bridges has been asked about her resemblance to Jolie so many times, she admits: "I find myself not reacting anymore when people say that. But it's such a compliment; it really is so flattering. She's one of my biggest idols, so it's incredible. I would kill to meet her. Except if I ever met her, I'd be so starstruck, I probably wouldn't be able to talk."

INDUSTRY EYE: Self-help superstars are getting the "Spinal Tap" treatment -- with a mockumentary titled "Rock Barnes," written and directed by Ben McMillan. It's about an egotistical and highly narcissistic self-help guru who has a camera team tagging along with him to capture his greatness for posterity. Described as always on the make and on the move, he has a personal stylist on staff, as well as a gay consultant -- who keeps Rock convinced that gay men are attracted to him.

Alan Ball's HBO series treatment of Charlie Huston's 2009 noir crime novel, "The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death," is moving toward its pilot production start this month with Ben Whishaw (who played the poet John Keats in "Bright Star") as the slacker who stumbles into a career as a crime scene cleaner. Still to be announced is who will play Po Sin, head of the post-death scrub and trauma cleanup team with which Whishaw's character becomes involved. What a grave trio of shows it will be for Ball, with "Mystic Arts" in the wake of his "Six Feet Under" and "True Blood."

Nobody would argue that 2010 has been an up-and-down year for Sandra Bullock, given her best actress Oscar for "The Blind Side" followed by her divorce from scandal-plagued husband Jesse James.

But on Tuesday, Bullock landed atop Hollywood's heap again when financial website Forbes.com named her the highest paid actress of the past 12 months having earned $56 million from two box office hits, romantic comedy "The Proposal" and football film, "The Blind Side."

Bullock not only received a fee for acting, but also participated in the profits, and for both films, the box office numbers were hefty, according to Forbes.com. "The Blind Side" took in nearly $310 million at global box offices on a budget of around $30 million, while "Proposal" racked up just under $320 million and cost roughly $40 million.

Tied for the No. 2 spot were Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz, both making $32 million. Though Witherspoon has not been on screen since 2008, she received advance paychecks for upcoming films, "How Do You Know" and "Water for Elephants".

Diaz's pot of gold was filled with money from the "Knight and Day" and "Shrek" films, which have grossed $2.8 billion at the global box office.

Jennifer Aniston came in at fourth place with $27 million, and "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker was No. 5 at $25 million.

To determine actresses' compensation, Forbes.com talked to talent agents, managers, producers and lawyers and looked at other means of revenue such as perfume and clothing lines and ad campaigns.

Forbes.com based its figures on earnings from June 2009 to June 2010. Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston were the highest paid actresses during a similar period one year earlier.

Angelina Jolie loves Brad Pitt because he's a "real man". The 'Salt' actress - who raises six children with the Hollywood hunk - has praised her lover for having all of the "best" personality traits associated with being a father figure and movie star.

She said: "He's strong, intelligent, he's sensitive - and he's a real man, in all the best ways that can mean."
Despite continual speculation into their private life, the 35-year-old beauty admits they are stable enough in their relationship - which started back in 2005 shortly after they met on 'Mr and Mrs Smith', when Brad was still married to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston - to laugh off gossip and untrue stories about themselves.
She explained: "We're great. And we can laugh about most of the things written about us because we're OK."
Brad and Angelina lead very hectic lives looking after their brood - adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara and biological kids Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne - whilst working on their acting careers.
To keep their relationship alive, the pair often "schedule" date nights, to allow them to take a break from being parents and focus on being a couple.
She explained to Live magazine: "We actually schedule them. We just had one the other night and we went next door so we didn't have to worry about the paparazzi and the kids didn't know where we were."
"We have a house that has two sections so we go to the part that's normally the studio and the office and just have dinner as a couple. If you can hold it together - which is hard these days and a lot of people separate - then you have to work at it, and you have to make that time when you are not Mom and Dad once in a while."

Angelina Jolie arrived in Japan by private jet accompanied by four of her six children. Maddox, 8, Zahara, 5, and four-year old Shiloh joined their famous mum as she touched down at Narita International Airport.

The film star is in the Far East for the Japanese premiere of 'Salt' taking place later this week.

"They were in a great mood considering the long flight," an onlooker told Splash. "Maddox was playing about with Pax and Angelina was laughing but at one point it looked like he got a telling off from his mom for covering his younger brother’s mouth.
"Shiloh was dressed like a little boy – she was gazing off into the distance while the other three competed for their mom's attention."

It is the second time in the last two years that the children have visited the Land Of The Rising Sun.

Twins Knox and Vivienne, both two-years-old, were seen in public for the very first time when they accompanied their parents through Narita Airport.
