Ali Larter's publicist says the U.S. actress is pregnant with her first child and is expected to deliver the baby this winter.

Whether it will be a boy or girl was not disclosed.

The "Heroes" star and her writer/actor husband Hayes MacArthur married last August.

"Ali and Hayes are thrilled to be expecting their first child," her representative told People.com.

Always up for a swanky event, Ali Larter was spotted last night (October 16) attending the opening of Cirque du Soleil’s “Kooza” in Santa Monica, CA.

The “Heroes” hottie showed up for the gala - which was held at Santa Monica Pier - dressed in a flirty blue dress and heels.

And it looks like the like the 33-year-old opted for a change as she has recently gone from her traditional blonde hair to a gorgeous auburn hue.

Giving herself a bit of a makeover, Ali Larter was spotted out and about in Los Angeles last night (October 1) sporting a new crimson coif.

The “Heroes” babe looked sexy and confident as she strutted past the paparazzi, wearing an ear-to-ear smile as she went on her way.

As for future projects, Ms. Larter recently signed on to star alongside hunky Wentworth Miller in the upcoming “Resident Evil: Afterlife” flick.

Shooting for the movie is scheduled to begin later this month in Toronto, Canada, with an August 27th, 2010 release date in the works.

She’s always looking for ways to use her celebrity for the less fortunate, and last night (August 26) Ali Larter was spotted at the Kenneth Cole A’wear’ness and Feed Project’ Celebrate the Feed Health Backpack event.

Ms. Larter has been enjoying her summer, most of which has been occupied with the preparations for her wedding that took place earlier this month.

And coming up on Monday, September 21st, Ali and the rest of her super-powered friends will be returning with a 2-hour season premiere of “Heroes.”

And it sounds like Ms. Larter was quite the beautiful blushing bride, as she reportedly wore a Vera Wang sweetheart neck, A-line gown of Chantilly, while MacArthur donned a Ralph Lauren Black Label tux.

The ceremony was simple and elegant, with purple, pink, and white floral accents and a small guest list that included close family and friends.

It’s definitely a wonderful time of the year to get married, and as of this weekend, Ali Larter will be officially wed.

According to a report, the “Heroes” hottie and her fiancé, actor Hayes MacArthur, are planning a small intimate nuptial ceremony in Kennebunkport, Maine on August 1st.

In true romantic fashion, the MacArthur estate will play host to the event, with only close family and friends receiving an invite to the occasion.

An inside source told press, “Hayes is really excited to spend time with a lot of his old buddies that he played football with at Bowdoin College in Maine. Ali wants a dream wedding and for everything to be perfect.”

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, Ali Larter was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills, California on Friday afternoon (July 24).

The “Heroes” hottie looked summertime sexy in a cleavage-baring pink halter-style dress with black sunglasses and a pair of brown sandals.

Unfortunately for Ali, she ended up showing the paparazzi a little more of her backside than she’d bargained for as she bent over to get some change out of her purse to feed the parking meter.

But like a seasoned pro, Miss Larter recovered quickly and went on her way as if nothing had even happened.

With rumors swirling in wonder of which cast member will be leaving the show “Heroes,” it looks as if Ali Larter might just be in the clear for the time being.

The blonde bombshell was on the Los Angeles set of the hit TV show earlier today (July 8) and looked absolutely gorgeous in a black blazer paired with a turquoise and black skirt.

Past reports have suggested that Miss Larter wants out of her “Heroes” contract due to lack of camera time - with her character being killed on the show more than once and then brought back to life.

Nothing has been confirmed or denied – so we may just have to wait until the show picks back up in September to find out more!
