Heroes star Hayden Panettiere said she 'absolutely enjoyed' shooting lesbian scenes for the show.  The 20-year-old actress plays the role of cheerleader Claire Bennett in the supernatural drama and her character has a lesbian kiss with her college roommate in scenes in the new series.

She uses a Katy Perry line from her hit "I Kissed a Girl" to explain: "Oh, yeah. I kissed a girl and I liked it."

Talking about the scenes, she said: "Claire has a room-mate who is the biggest relationship in this season because she has finally got what she had with Zach, her friend in the first season, which was a confidante and somebody whom she can tell her secrets to."
