Joe McElderry versus Olly Murs and the X factor winner for 2009 is...no surprise.  On Saturday, as Stacey Soloman placed third in the 2009 X Factor, the momentum pushed to Joe McElderry and he is your X Factor champion.  The 18-year-old hailed as a new Cliff Richard and he'll have a Christmas hit for the UK.

The BBC notes, "Last year's winner, Alexandra Burke topped the charts with her debut album Overcome in October this year and has had two solo number one singles."  The UK Daily Mail believes that "Victory was sealed on Saturday night when he held his own in a duet with George Michael."

More X-Factor...Judge Cheryl Cole is the celebrity that most people would like to kiss in a new poll and now those lips and the rest of the sexy judge are the victim of a spoof video from News of the World.  
See it here.  Dannii Minogue is in the firing line too.  It shouldn't be all bad news for Cole, to win her kissing poll, she bested competition from actresses Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox by picking up a third of the votes.  Dannii  received just two percent of the vote.
